Fun and Challenging

I like the puzzles that have to be solved in this game. They are challenging without being so hard that they can't be solved by humans. Some of the skill tests are quite difficult (like the trip into Gringott's) but children and adults alike will enjoy the action. I would have appreciated a bit better graphics on some of the people but other than that, this is a very fun and engaging game for all ages.

Fun until the flying lesson

This game is fun until you get to the flying lesson.Hootch's
constant "Concentrate,potter,and try again'make you want to
go over and strangle her.Going through all those hoops makes
you feel like you're a trained animal going through endless
hoops to entertain Hootch.Flying through 20 hoops was annoying
enough,but having to fly through 40 hoops?Come on now-forty
hoops?It gets boring having to keep flying through hoops constantly,and it's a waste of time.If you have this game and cannot get past the flying lesson,I suggest you put it
until Game Shark Video Game Enhancer comes out with codes
for this game.

If you didn't read the first book then don't get this game. I finished this game really fast. The hardest part in the game is probably the galleon vault in Gringotts. You'd be surprised how easy You-Know-Who is. .

I got this game on Amazon.com from my parents for a good ITBS test grade. I played it after dinner and noticed that it was REALLY hard!I had to follow Ron everywhere he went, and I couldn't save when trying to get Hedwig from Malfoy, or in a flying lesson,which is really the hardest part because I got stuck trying to make it through 20 small hoops in 30 seconds!The worst part is, you have to stay in the flying lesson until you pass it! Whenever you fail, Madam Hooch just says "Concentrate, Potter, and try again."She sounds encouraging but it doesn't help at all.This game ,in my opinion, stinks like rotten eggs.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone video game is a very exciting and adventurous game. As soon as we got it we played for 2.5 hours straight. The graphics are really good and it only takes 2 seconds to load. It is also a challenging game though fun at the same time. We recommend this game to all Harry Potter fans!

The game was fantastic, but my imagination did more for me, if you didnt read the book, and your interested you should read the book first(it helps alot). If you like stratagising, adventuring, and some action, this is the game for you. However, if you mainly want it for the graphics dont buy it, because they're not very good. Overall its a good game (...). If you like what I described then this is the game for you!

I haven't read the books or seen the movie and I think the game is GREAT. Flying can be a bit challenging at first and although it seems the controls are backward, they are not (you can change them if you'd like). Flying through the hoops may seem pointless to some of the reviewers, but that's because they haven't made it past that part yet. Your broom skills come in handy for Quidditch and more...The game is pretty easy, but there ARE challenges. The graphics aren't as good as some of the PS2 games because it's PS ONE. So, lighten up people. It's a GAME and WELL worth the money.

This is such a great game! It's not totally hard, but it is very challenging! I haven't gotten through it yet, but I'm trying really hard. You have to fight trolls, monsters, and Professor Snape! and in the end you even get to fight the evil lord Voldemort! This game is totally great!
