This is a simple game point and shot. Some people may think this game is too short but do not let this stop you from buying this game. There are bonus guns, uniforms, and etc. that will make you come back for more. This is a cheap game that is fun. If you like Classic Sega shooters(like Virtua Cop and House of the Dead) than you will be very happy with Ghost Squad!!!!!!

I'll start this review with a little background of myself so you know where I am coming from. I'm a typical 26 year old gamer that enjoys all genres of video games from old school up to 'next-gen'. I have always enjoyed light gun arcade games so I was eager to get Ghost Squad. It supports 4 players at once which I love since me and my brother can both dual wield guns at the same time. It also has a nice shot calibration system that allows you to calibrate how the wiimote aims relative to the screen. This means that you can basically make it like a traditional light gun game, where you point is where it shoots.
The gameplay is fast and furious like most shooters. There are 3 missions that have many variations of each level. This means you are technically playing the same 3 missions but the enemy layout and difficulty varies greatly. Also they add in these little side missions throught the levels that you can choose from which really adds to the depth. Finally the game ranks you after beating the missions and allows you to post your high score in an online leaderboard. This works well in motivating you to beat the game on harder levels using harder guns and no aiming recticle. You also get new guns and new costumes for you character which helps add to the depth.
Strengths:
+ 4 players at once is sweet OR 2 players dual wielding!!!
+ Very tight controls, the IR cursor works great and can be calibrated to any senstivity or accuracy you like in the game.
+ Solid light-gun gameplay that has changing levels and fun side missions.
+ Unlockable guns and costumes change things up and increase difficulty
+ Online leaderboards keep you motivated to beat your high score
Weaknesses:
- The 3 missions are not very long but the variety helps.
- The graphics are not amazing but they do the job
Overall:
I highly recommend this game to any light-gun fans. I strongly suggest the game for anyone who wants to try out a light gun game without dropping a bunch of quarters at the arcade. Its a fun romp especially with friends... Can't go wrong with a shotgun in one hand and a machine gun in the other ;-}

This game reminds me so much of the Virtua cop and Virtua squad games from back in the day, I used to love those games and play them over and over trying to beat my score. I like the fact that you can calibrate the wiimote to get it to work more accurately then other wii shooter games. I tried it with the wii zapper but found it easier with out it.

This is a fun shooter, although quite short. It's a perfect port of the arcade game. Only three levels to play.... Not a whole lot of replay value.
it's just as fun as Virtua Cop ever was!

this game is just as fun, if not more, than the Virtua Cop series. i would recommend this to any Virtua Cop fan. not quite as fun as Time Crisis, but good enough for me.

I was really excited to relive my Arcade Shooter days with Ghost Squad but it just didn't quite deliver. Overall it's a fun title and if you can get it for $20 or less then it's a must have but you'll probably have just as much fun renting it. After about the first hour of playing it starting getting "same old same old" status and it's a VERY short game, we killed it in an afternoon. The controller calibration is kinda flawed in my opinion as well. It really forces you to stand back father thatn you may want to, or have the room to. I also found my arm getting tired quicker than while playing other Wii games. However using the Wii Zapper this game really shines well, being able to steady your "gun" with two hands not only makes it easier to play but also adds that "Arcade realism" feel to the game. The levels are kinda blah and the graphics aren't anything you didn't see 5 years ago in the arcade BUT it's still fun, even if for only an afternoon or so.
Great game for the price

This games is definately alot of fun and reminds me of the days of duck hunt and the light gun. Even though not a true light gun you can adjust your aim so that you can "eye up" your shot. This game is much better with a gun peripheral. There are only three levels but each time you beat them more options are opened up so that you can take different paths each time you play. This adds to the replay value. In all this game is worth the price and very addicting. I find myself playing over and over to try and unlock more guns and stages to the levels. The multiplayer is alot of fun too and up to 4 people can blast away at terrorists. So get some friends together and shoot 'em up!

This game is just like the arcade version. A little cheezy but A LOT of fun! It works with or with out a Wii gun. There are three levels that change depending on what you choose to do. My husband and I love it, we play together all the time!

If you enjoyed the arcade version of Ghost Squad you will like this version even better! Many more sections to each level to explore! The Nyko Perfect Shot is a must for this game and any other gun game!

Ghost squad is simple arcade fun. It is based off the light gun shooter. In party mode you can change the terrorist to girls in bikinis. You save hostages and kill terrorists through 3 missions. There are a lot of games in training mode but it is hard. I would recommend it for anyone who is good at video games.
