I'll keep it short in saying it was dissapointing. I bought it for online play the day it came out. I never go out and buy games on their release; that is how excited I was. First, the controls are nowhere near metroid's. The metroid controls are so smooth, much better than these even with all the settings you can change. The controls get a bit ridiculous. Put the wii mote over your shoulder to shoot a rocket. Make a throwing motion to toss a grenade. Guess what? When you don't aim at the screen for half a second your charecter looks at the sky or his feet. You walk around like a penguin, and apparnatly gravity is too much for you to overcome so forget about jumping. You have a choice between a whopping four multiplayer maps, all of which are tiny. The only good things about this game are the decent graphics and sound. As others have mentioned you only get a main weapon and a side. If you want to pick another up you drop yours. It takes more than a clip to the head to kill someone, or 3 snipes. It is often hard to see anything when you are walking down stairs because your giant gun is smack in the middle of the screen. They try making things realistic as possible then have you health regenerate? I could go on and on. PS If anyone thinks this is a fanboy review it is. I have and currently own all nintendo systems. So, it is not like I am biased against wii. If you want a good fun online fps don't get this. Do what I plan to and buy either a PS3 and get Resistance:Fall of Man or 360 and get Halo. Both of those are good. This one not so much.
Huge Disappointment

This game is a real letdown. Lots of potential, but its got boring and easy single player campaigns. In Multiplayer, the graphics are simplified (worse than a bad Gamecube game), the character animations are twitchy and unrealistic, the control frustrating, the sound effects and music are missing or unfinished, and there are some serious bugs (like invincibility if you pause while spawning). The game box says 4 player, but there is absolutely no offline multiplayer on the console, and no split screen of any kind (on or offline). It is the first online FPS on the Wii, which is reason to celebrate, but it's not at all what it promises. Hopefully the next attempt will be better.
NOT 4 PLAYER!

I was looking for a 4 player first person shooter for a wii. I found this which was advertised to be 4 played but its not true. There is a 1 player solo mode and then 32 player online mode but you can only have 1 person playing on each wii at a time.
Expected better

I really did expect more out of this game. First of all, the graphics were better in MOH Vanguard. While the graphics weren't as bad as Far Cry Vengeance (which looked like an N64 game) they should have been a lot better. They're were suppose to make each system version of this game "system specific," but we got PSP graphics on the Wii.
I feel the user interface was also a lot better in Vanguard. The controls felt smoother and easier to use. The controls are pretty decent though. I'll have to try out the Wii Zapper. The AI is horrible all around. Allies and Axis are both horrible. Enemies will be running in one direction then in a split second turn and fire at you (impossible physics). Also, its hard to tell when they die (which is most annoying in multiplayer). The enemies kind of hover for a second, then their knees buckle a little, then they fall over.
The online multiplayer is decent. You can create a friends list to join games together which is pretty nice. You carry a profile which keeps gaming stats comparable to Halo 3, although they're a little hard to understand. It does get a little repetitive, but it is fun to play.
Arcade mode seems like a waste to a long time MOH player. It looks like its the same levels as the main game, only you don't move your character, he is moved automatically like in Virtua Cop or Area 51. Don't get me wrong, those games are fun, but its not why I bought a Medal of Honor game.
Over all, it IS a fun game to play, but I don't think its as good as the last MOH on the Wii, Vanguard, which is most disappointing to me, but its worth playing. The campaign has the three levels of difficulty to master, along with extra tasks to complete in each level, medals to acquire, stats to gain (you even gain promotions ie: Corporal ~ Captain) and then theres the online multiplayer which will keep this game going for a while.
A little bit disappointed, but overall it's good.

I've been doing my research about this game since October and all that reviews, anticipations, youtube videos give me a very high expectation from Medal of Honor: Heroes 2.
Well, I bought the game yesterday, and my reaction to the first 30 minutes was exciting because it was probably the real 1st FPS game I've ever owned. "Beside RE4, but then RE4 is more of action than FPS. Anyway,
The Pros:
- I love the online playing experience. With my weak signal in the basement (2bars), I played online flawlessly without experiencing any lag or delay. EA did an excellent job on the online play.
- You can play up to 32 players with 3 different types of game play: Free for all, Team combat, and capture the flag. *I like free for all the most just because it is where most actions occur.
- Sensitive FPS control, but it does takes sometime to get used to it.
The Cons:
- Very limited of choice of weapons and maps. Players can only choose and use one weapon at a time. If you want use different weapon, you have to forge yours and pick up other's weapon.
- Only 4 maps, I wish there could've been more. (Snipers are almost useless in this game and you'll know why
- This is the part I hate the most that I have to sell the game back on Amazon. If you want to annihilate a player, you have to shoot him until he dies. Basically, there's no health point. I think you have to shoot the person directly 3 times enable to kill him. Otherwise, if he escapes enough time, his life will regenerate back to normal, which means you have to shoot him 3 times again directly. So, a person can never dies in the online play if he can dodge extremely well. You shoot, you run till you gain consciousness, then you go back, you run, so on.
My review is based on my online experience only, since I bought this game for online play. This is indeed the best Nintendo Wii FPS in the market because there aren't not that many FPS have been made.
My recommendation is maybe rent this game 1st or get a used copy from Gamestops or EB Games. Do the online mode 1st. If you still enjoy play the game after playing for 30-45 minutes, then buy it. If not, then just wait for something else. I hope Smash Bro is gonna be good.
As good as FPS gets on the Wii?

I give this rating more because of the difference between FPS on the Wii and my XBox. Comparing this game to the play of COD 4 on the 360 is like comparing an Edsel to a Mustang. This may be as good as FPS gets on the Wii; if so I am done on this platform with FPS. Give me more sports games.
A Slightly Above Average Shooter.

This is a decent first person shooter and one of the best the Wii has to offer. However, it does not stand out in any way. Personally, I enjoyed the Zapper controls which worked very well. But, the game did not hold my attention for more than a day. The online play is an okay start, but the maps and modes are very limited. Until, they decide to allow voice chat the online games just aren't going to be up to par. Buy it if you love World War II shooters, if not, I say rent it.

Medal of Honor Heroes 2 is about what I expected in relationship to previous ones. Having the game on the wii is a nice because you can use the wireless connection to play online and use the wiimote for more interactive game play.

The graphics and game strategy were good, especially if you've never played a game like this one before. I liked the little bits of history they gave you at the beginning of each game. I probably would have liked it better had there been more missions and a little more variety. It's far more difficult using the "hero" level than it is the "green" level, but the game strategy between them doesn't differ. I'm waiting to see if you're able to unlock a secret level if you get 100% on every game, but I kind of doubt it has one. My favorite feature had to be not being restricted to one weapon. There were quite a few different types available. This is a great game for sleepovers if you plan on staying up all night to win all the missions.
Fun when the EA servers are functioning

This is an average WWII shooter with a fun control scheme, nothing more, nothing less. The offline component is ok. I would not recommend the game on the strength of it alone. The online component is a lot of fun, especially with the Zapper Wii Zapper with Link's Crossbow Training, however it brings two frustrating issues with it. The biggest is that I get disconnected from EA's servers all the time. It usually takes 5-10 minutes of trying and retrying before I can get into and stay in a game for a length of time without getting disconnected. Even when I do get into a pseudo stable connection, though, it may only last for 10 minutes, at which point the disconnect/reconnect fun begins again. If I switch maps/games, the fun also often starts all over again. I googled this problem and found out it is a common one (though not one that everybody has). Just be aware... Second, you often have to shoot someone 10-20 times before they die (unless you are one of the bozos running around with a bazooka). When you add 31 other players into the mix, that makes for a lot of people running around crazy holding their triggers down Rambo style. I prefer something a bit more tactical. I guess my summation is, if you like shooters and only own a Wii, I would recommend this game. If you own other systems in addition to the Wii, I would stick to their shooters. Of course the Zapper control is a tempting and fun one...
