Completely addicted

I've always loved shooters but this game was the first one I ever played online with other players. The game itself is excellent and the Wii controls are near perfect, better than other similar games on Wii. I originally rented this game and after playing it online I decided to spend the money and buy it. Now it just stays inside my console all the time. I use the same name on the multiplayer environment as I do here, so if you see me coming, run.

One of the better games i've played on wii

I really like the use of the link's zapper and enjoy the wii story, still challenging!

Wish you could play together w/ another person in the same room!

To clarify what may other people are saying, the AI is NOT bad. In fact I died on the tutorial level on medium, and im a pretty good gamer. The AI acts looks bad but it is very challenging in some places.

This game is better than the sum of its parts (like the gamestop award). IF you look at everything individually this game is still a good wii title. Though The graphics are average, the sound is good, the campaign is short, if you put all the parts together this game really stands out. The control scheme is amazingly good. Its obvious that the developers put a lot of effort into making the game fun, not artsy. Sure many other games look stunning, or have an encredible campaign, but if you want gameplay over appearance, this is deffinetley the game for you. Put together this is almost as entertaining as Metroid prime 3. EA also supports all types of gamers. Hardcore fans will love the online mode. Casual gamers will love the arcade mode, which i find surprisingly well done, and everyone shoud like the campaing mode, which comes complete with awards, ranks, and stats. By stats I mean how many enemies killed, accuracy%, and how often you have been shot (70 on the first two levels). The controls are also higly ajustable, game designers take notice. In total each part of this game deserves a B-, or a B, but in total I would give Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for wii, an A-, and two thumbs up

Wish there were more missions

There are 3 levels, but each one uses the same missions. After you get 100% on 'Green' level you go to 'Veteran'. I expected that with 'Veteren' there would be different missions, landscapes, strategies. But, that is not the case. It seems that the only difference between the levels is, the higher the level, the faster you die when shot and it takes more shots to kill the enemy. It is a fun game, but once you master the missions at the 'Green' level it seems kind of boring to go through the same missions again.

NOT 4 PLAYER!

I was looking for a 4 player first person shooter for a wii. I found this which was advertised to be 4 played but its not true. There is a 1 player solo mode and then 32 player online mode but you can only have 1 person playing on each wii at a time.

3.5; good game, great controls

To be perfectly honest, I'm not a big fan of military shooters. While on occasion I can stomach a good FPS such as Halo, Metroid Prime series or tactical shooters like Rainbow Six Vegas, all of the Call of Duty's, Medal of Honors and whatever else is out there did little to interest me but I thought I'd check out this game anyway. And while it's still not my genre and not a game I'd buy, I did have fun with it and got into it so unlike Corruption which combined a great atmosphere and story with controls, this seems more like it's fun to play than to experience the whole package.

It's a WWII shooter so you know what that means: Invasion of Normandy, storming through cities covered in rubble and debris and destroying U-boats. It's not a particularly engaging story and at times it feels more like you're going through the Campaign mode to play the next mission rather than get more of the story though some might find it intriguing and fans of war shooters could find it worthwhile though.

Graphically the game isn't exactly stellar, even in progressive scan widescreen. While it looks fine on its own and I didn't notice a lot of issue with detail or textures, it doesn't really have that jaw-dropping feel that other games had, or even stellar art design. But of course no war game shouldn't do wrong in terms of sound and while I don't have the benefit of having a surround system, the gunfire, explosions and other elements tended to be accurate and I even had that Private Ryan-esque ringing in your ears where it muffled the sounds. Voice acting is alright, not exceptional but not laughable either so that's a good plus.

One of the things many gamers anticipated with the introduction of the Wii remote was in regards to first person shooters and this game is certainly no slouch; in fact it's one of the best control experiences I've had in the genre. Being deadly on the battlefield has never been so fun and picking off guys in the distance without that constant adjusting from analog sticks was quite satisfying to say the least. There's also other elements like peeking around corners by tilting the nunchuk or throwing grenades by obviously doing a throwing motion with the Wii-mote was quite immersive. There's even some nifty ideas such as putting it on your shoulder to mimic carrying a bazooka or tilting it to turn radio dials to call headquarters was well-handled.

However, I still have many nitpicks. For one, some weapons such as the sniper rifle I found quite sluggish and aiming to hit the next guy felt strangely slow and going for the next guy took a lot more time than I wanted, prompting me to just exit the scope screen and just re-position and go again. And one I would've liked was something like Halo or Resistance where just pressing one button could throw your grenades. While it's neater to press A to pull the pin and doing the throwing motion, I would've liked an immediate return to my guns rather than having to press on the D-pad to go back and not just be stuck on grenades.

Is it buy-worthy? Unless this genre is your thing than by all means, give it a play but when you have games like Rainbow Six Vegas, Resistance or Call of Duty 4, the Orange Box and even the Wii's very own Metroid Prime 3, it wouldn't matter all too much if you missed this one. But if you decide to give it a try than there is some fun to be had with this one.

Fun but lacking in special effects

This is a fun game, can be challenging on the harder levels but is a bit lacking in the graphics department. The AI could use a little improvement as well but overall not bad.

I do like the way you can use the controls in this game. Just recently got my Nyko gun which I think will make it that much better. I really like to see game companies use the controller in innovative ways. If you're a hard core gamer, this game will probably be disappointing but if you are just casually into games, this one is a lot of fun.

Fun when the EA servers are functioning

This is an average WWII shooter with a fun control scheme, nothing more, nothing less. The offline component is ok. I would not recommend the game on the strength of it alone. The online component is a lot of fun, especially with the Zapper Wii Zapper with Link's Crossbow Training, however it brings two frustrating issues with it. The biggest is that I get disconnected from EA's servers all the time. It usually takes 5-10 minutes of trying and retrying before I can get into and stay in a game for a length of time without getting disconnected. Even when I do get into a pseudo stable connection, though, it may only last for 10 minutes, at which point the disconnect/reconnect fun begins again. If I switch maps/games, the fun also often starts all over again. I googled this problem and found out it is a common one (though not one that everybody has). Just be aware... Second, you often have to shoot someone 10-20 times before they die (unless you are one of the bozos running around with a bazooka). When you add 31 other players into the mix, that makes for a lot of people running around crazy holding their triggers down Rambo style. I prefer something a bit more tactical. I guess my summation is, if you like shooters and only own a Wii, I would recommend this game. If you own other systems in addition to the Wii, I would stick to their shooters. Of course the Zapper control is a tempting and fun one...

I bought this game to play online and i have to say it was a great buy even at 50 dollars. The online play against others around the world is so fun and cool. Sure I guess voice chat might be cool (haven't done it myself.) but then again other folks talking to me can be a pain in the butt. This is ww 2 too how many folks were on the battlefields with head sets talking to each other. Turn on some tunes and watch for the blood red screen to tell if you are getting hit. The sound effects are really good and made me think someone else was in my house. Spooky. I love this game. Sorry haven't play xbox 360 or ps3 but then again if they don't have wii motion sensor controls i really don't have much interest in them. Sorry after gaming since the 70s just holding a control doesn't cut it for me anymore.

The graphics and game strategy were good, especially if you've never played a game like this one before. I liked the little bits of history they gave you at the beginning of each game. I probably would have liked it better had there been more missions and a little more variety. It's far more difficult using the "hero" level than it is the "green" level, but the game strategy between them doesn't differ. I'm waiting to see if you're able to unlock a secret level if you get 100% on every game, but I kind of doubt it has one. My favorite feature had to be not being restricted to one weapon. There were quite a few different types available. This is a great game for sleepovers if you plan on staying up all night to win all the missions.
