Este juego es una secuela de Yoshi's Island: Super Mario World 2, juego que salio por alla en el 95. Si bien el juego utiliza los mismos graficos (los cuales son excelentes) hay algo que le falta. Los chicos de Artoon (desarrolladores de Blinx) hicieron un trabajo mucho mas estable en esta ocasion, quizas por la supervision de Nintendo. Hay elementos, como el espacio que divide las pantallas del DS, el cual fue utilizado para esconder items y enemigos... eso puede resultar algo molesto. Tienes una variedad de bebes que le daran a Yoshi distintas habilidades, aunque esto al final se vuelve predecible (si ves una liana cerca, automaticamente cambiaras a Bebe DK por ejemplo). Es una muy buena recomendacion, aun tomando en cuenta esos pequeños detalles. Presenta un reto tanto para los mas grandes, como para los mas chicos, y si te gusto el original, este movera tu fibra con mucha nostalgia.

Nintendo really needs to put more effort into its games. It is unacceptable for the name of great games such as yoshi's island to be put to shame by crappy sequels. Furthermore, I have not found a single ds game to be satisfactory. Please stop making horrid games Nintendo.

I never thought Yoshi-the apple eating dinosaur would be the star of his very own video game.....But now he is! In the beginning of the game baby Mario and Luigi get kidnapped-only Mario escaping. Yoshi catches Mario on his back and the adventure begins! But, as you continue through the levels, try not to drop baby Mario. As you keep on beating levels, Yoshi turns into different colors, and you can unlock some other cool stuff, too.

The game is very fun for my son. He says he likes the levels. The game is very age appropriate, it isn't so difficult that he gets frustrated.

I have played this for 2 weeks and I find it very amusing. I like the sound and the new enemies and play machanics. At first I though it was easy because I finished the SNES version around 7 years ago. But I was wrong.
It apperas the same but it isn't. The level layout is different and the difficulty is hard when you try to obtain a 100 score.
Also I find the art different, not bad but different. One complain is that the openin cinema was very simple compared to the original, sometime that is strange due to the capabilities of the DS (Final Fantasy III and Lunar Knigths, for a few examples)
I can recomend this to anyone looking for a good plataform game. It's easy to learn but tough wen you want to ve a completist

This game is really fun for older and younger people alike. I had a good time playing it, and it can be played over and over again.
Only one problem.
The last levels are really DIFFICULT.
I'm older, so I had the patience to keep trying the levels over and over again, but a child might get very frustrated. Just a warning.
Over all, I would recommend the game, but don't get mad at the last levels!

It's not perfect (New Super Mario Bros.is better), but it is a unique little platformer that you'll have fun playing if you're a Mario or Yoshi fan, so if you are and you haven't already, buy it.
