Glider Pro: For the Person With A Lot Of Spare Time

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 4 / 4
Date: August 18, 2000
Author: Amazon User

This role-playing game (where you play the roll of a paper glider) allows you to fly around a house of your own creation or that of the game's creators. You must avoid obstacles, dodge enemies, and collect all of the stars to win. WARNING: This game is very addictive. You will most likely enjoy it.

The Very Best Game Of All Times

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 4 / 5

First: If you're interested at all in this game, go to clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/penguin127sgliderproclub to meet other Glider PRO fans.

And what makes this game so great?

1) Unviolent. A lot of people might like violence in games, but I don't.

2) Extreme variability. No other game can allow so much with one simple editor. There are hundreds of houses out there.

3) Simple graphics enough. This might not feel like the most important thing, but because of that the addition of graphics on one's own is possible, by using the editor.

4) Very addictive gameplay. You'll want to play it over and over again, and after that, you'll start all over again with another level ("house")... did I mention that there are hundreds houses, of whom at least 10% are unargueably brilliant masterpieces?

Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Glider Pro is the best computer game I ever played. It is so fun to navigate the paper airplane through the houses and construct your own. I think you should get it right NOW.

I got this game when I was a kid, about 7 years old.
I loved this game. I played it everyday. My parents also loved it 'cause it wasn't violent.
I definitely recommend this game for the kids.

As I expect everyone knows, in this game you're at the controls of a small paper glider, trying to guide it through houses full of air vents (which keep you aloft) and menaces like balloons, shelves, paper shredders, etc (which make you crash!). Your goal is to get through each house finding all the stars. It's a nonviolent, wickedly inventive, charming game with simple graphics and great replay value. For all ages!

Excellent!

Glider is one of the best games I have ever found for any computer. I am a Macintosh person, and this is one of Apple Computer's best software inventions since Magic Window II. I highly recommend this game for anyone, it's perfect for all ages.

it's great and it's free

this game is great but the important thing any prospective buyer should know is that it's now completely free. the distributing company went out of the business and the author opted to make it freeware. and anything free is just that much better. just search online you'll find it.
