This is an excellent game for simulation play or for education. I let my 8 year old play to learn about animals and the importance of appropriate habitat so the animal is happy in it's environment.

my three kids are complete marine maniacs - they spent countless hours creating the perfect zoo, or recreating the local zoo.
safe, clean fun - and, best of all: mom gets to play too sometimes!
for kids that love animals, it's the best mac software there is.
my kids are between the ages of 6 and 12 - so it's suitable for kids reading age and up. younger kids could play as well, but will need a lot of help figuring out what the zookeepers are recommending to make the animals happier, so that could be frustrating for smaller ones.
all in all - great game!
now, if only they would create a farm tycoon - my kids have been bugging me for years about it...
