This game is amazing! I love the game(especially online multiplayer). They say it is a high end system only game but not always. I turned down the settings to low and some even at medium and I was playing it on a Powerbook G4 800mhz! On my G5( I use macs, windows sucks) I play this game for hours daily due to it's greatness. I love this game so much I just picked up a copy for xbox. I highly reccomend this game, its worth the money.

Eh, this game was ok. It became a little repetitive in the story mode, what with swarms of covenant attacking you. And yet...the AI was a little buggy....most of the time, they did not even notice that I was there. But, the best thing i have found is the Multi Player. Multi player is probably the best thing from the /entire/ game. But other than that. eh...it needs some work. Halo 2 was suppost to fix this, but it left people still wanting. I would still play Unreal Tournament 2K4 than Halo. Unreal looks better, playes faster on my G4 Al Powerbook (VRAM + RAM maxed), and has faster game play. Overall, it is a good game, but it still needs some fine tuning.

Okay, how many people have actually played the game. If you have then you know what I'm talking about. For those of you who have not played this IT IS THE BEST GAME ON EARTH. Banshees, Warthogs, Ghosts and Tanks rule the maps. With a full arsenal of human and alien weapons inluding the Shot gun, Assult Rifle, Flamethrower, Rocket Launcher, Fuel Rod Gun, Needler, Plasma Pistol and Sniper Rifle. BUY IT. TODAY. NOW. I have this game on my G3/G4 17-inch flat screen and it works very well. An expansive multiplayer, a great storyline and by far the best graphics for the type of game make it a very good use of your money. Oh, I forgot to mention, there are gun turrets. A VERY COOL GAME BUY IT NOW.

I have had halo ever since it came out on the xbox. Halo is awsome. You never get tired of it. Escpeacially multiplayer. Jay Wiliam exagerated everything and if you want a challenge play on the Legendary difficulty.

Halo, an amazing game. The difinitive X-Box game. Now on Mac, the difinitive computor system (that's right- screw you windows). My thirst for Halo multiplayer is quenched with the online play (wich aint included in the X-Box version), I love the fact that Mods can now be made for this great game. I love everything about this game- but not the mouse and keyboard. It seems like the developers didn't do much altering to the aiming to fit in mouse and keyboard controls. Nevertheless everything about this game is great, you'll find yourself playing the same level over and over again and it won't feel old. The immersion is amazing, when you see a couple hunters or a pack of elites up ahead you will sweat with fear. This game, if you don't already know, is the best game of all time, you just have to trust me on this one. It is a must have. Period. Just buy it.

Sonuva... they said simultaneous release!? This thing is gonna be over two months away!? What the hell!? This game better be far more scalable and have those tools with it, if its gonna take this long.

When I heard Halo was coming out for Mac i was syched, this was going to be one of the biggest releases for the Mac ever,and i was right Halo is One of the best Mac titles ever released. Story plot is excellent graphics are great the game is fun the multiplayer is good but there is a lot of lag. I run it on a G4 1.25 GHZ 140 gb HD with a ATI Radeon 9200 and it works fine. And i dont know what some people are talking about with problems with game requirments..i just bought a 1.25GHz PowerPC G4 256MB DDR333 SDRAM 80GB Ultra ATA driveSuperDrive ATI Radeon 9200 i souped it up thought with a 140 GB HD and 1 GB DDR333 SDRAM. I already had halo before i got my computer...i popped that game in before any thing else and it worked smoother that any game before. I'v used about 40 gb of psace on my hd and it still runs like magic. The person with the G5 2 ghz i dont no what the problem is.

Halo is a great game. It is very adddicting and you get free online multiplayer. Online multiplayer on the xbox costs money! Halo for the mac has new weapons that the xbox version doesn't have. You can even use an Xbox 360 controller if you don't like using the normal controlls. Don't listen to Jason Wilman, I doubt he's even played the game. Any NORMAL person would like this game, I guess Jason Wilman is a freak.

At first I thought Halo was just another game my friends that my friends talked about. I heard a lot of stuff about Ghosts, Banshees, and Warthogs. I was thinking "What The...?". Then I got the game. It had a MAJOR impact on my thinking. I love the campaign, love the multiplayer(apart from the bad language some people waste time typing). I even have some Halo songs on my iPod. Suddenly Ghosts, Banshees, etc. are so cool!!

Now as a great Halo fan, I was looking for to this for months. The graphics are perfect and fabulous but as virtually everyone buying this is used to playing it on Xbox, MACSOFT never told anyone that they couldn't be bothered to add GAMEPAD support! Of course the pc version has. It would have taken them an extra day to do it but didn't. SO until they do this is a MOST USELESS game to play as using a mouse and keyboard require 17 hands and two sets of eyes just to get some basic gameplay, SO until they deal with this SERIOUS issue do NOT BOTHER WASTING YOUR MONEY as they may NEVER release the patch to allow GAMEPAD support. best Barrie Roness
