Yoda Stories is one of the worst Game Boy Color titles I have played to date. This game is almost a step back from its modern counterparts. It's simplistic, colorless backgrounds and characters during gameplay belong on the Gameboy's original yellow screen. Another shortcoming of this title is the gameplay control. The player's character, Luke Skywalker is made to walk extremely sloppy. Many gameplayers will find it quite difficult to maneuver Luke into a doorway or around a hazard. The screen appears to "jump" every time Luke moves in any direction, which can get quite frustrating when trying to concentrate during an important battle. The only thing that makes this game even tolerable is the story-line behind the gameplay. Hardcore Star Wars fans will enjoy playing an integral part in Luke Skywalker's training. However, gamers interested only in something fun to pass the time should buy something else-like Zelda DX or Spy Vs Spy-both are excellent little amusements.

Lousy game

Graphics are the lowest quality you can imagine, and the game is so boring it was actually a relief to get killed. I am a hardcore Star Wars fan and I really hate this game.

I was expecting more

The box advertized it as "thrilling" but I don't consider this lousy game even worth spending time with. The graphics are horrible and most of the time you can't tell what you're doing

I thought this was an ok game. The graphics are not the best but it is similair to Zelda. You walk around solving little puzzles and in the end solve the final puzzle. The game is not difficult but interesting if you like to be able to solve the puzzles with not much effort. There are thirteen levels and three different worlds (desert, snow and forest). You can beat one level in about 2 hours. You can also find a map to guide you in your quest.

Much better on PC

This game is much better on PC. On PC there are random levels and you can save where-ever you want. On the gameboy you have to get past a non-randomized level, and you get a password after that. You can't save anywhere else.

Nice.....

This game is AWESOME BABY! The graphics are like those you would see in something like Zelda or Pokemon, but it fits the style of the game. It is highly addictive, and has some really awesome features, like zillions of characters from the original (not Episode 1) Star Wars Trilogy! Try this game out, it's really good! BUT, if you want Episode 1 action, get Star Wars Racer!

Yoda+Game Boy Color=FUN

This game is really great. As Luke Skywalker, you complete various missions for Yoda. Along the way you interact with such characters as Chewbacca, Han Solo, Ben Kenobi, Princess Leia, and, the great one himself, Boba Fett(who actually helps you out toward the end). Combine this with challenging puzzles and you've got one great game.

This game was put together somewhat cheaply though. Sometimes, the characters would change color or the game would freeze up. Also, I felt that the music was too repetitive. The sound effects on the other hand were the best I had ever heard. They sounded just like the ones on the movie. I'd recommend this game for any Star Wars fan(unless you hate the Star Wars theme music or corny inside jokes).

What were they thinking....

This game was so bad I had to burn it! I rather play an Episode 1 game, but I though I might like it. I can summize this in two words, it stunk! So before you buy this game listen to what I have to say: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS! And if you buy it you'll be a idiot for it.

Eh

The PC version is much superior to this semi-lackluster Game Boy version. Sure, the graphics and control are much better on the PC, but the Game Boy Color version uses what it has for a pretty enjoyable expierence. The main annoyance is the character movement and choppy controls, but the graphics are decent and make good use of Game Boy Color's palette (this also works on regular black and white Game Boy/Game Boy Pocket). The game does eat up some time, and is very distracting and gets very involving. It's a good effort, not a great game, but still fun, long and challanging when you got down to it. Good for long trips and such, plus it features a password system, so you don't have to start from square one.
