this game was very fun. you get to use lightsabers blasters and more. you have to think in this game. that makes it so great.

This game has a good plot but every time you press a button the screen flickers. It's weapons is pretty caught up......... For the second century! When you find something you have to spend 5 min. to find where it's used! A slow painful game.

basically youre this yoda guy and you like to tell stories to this wierd person named luke"skywalker". ummm, i totally did not not get the plot to this game.something about respecting the "force" what is that anyway?it would be a cool movie if they made this game into a movie or tv series though. i'd like to see "yoda" and "luke skywalker" on a bigger screen.i thought the "force" idea was kinda stupid and the game could've done without it.so, if you wantok gameplay and a weird but interesting and original plot,try this game

This game was so bad I had to burn it! I rather play an Episode 1 game, but I though I might like it. I can summize this in two words, it stunk! So before you buy this game listen to what I have to say: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS! And if you buy it you'll be a idiot for it.

The box advertized it as "thrilling" but I don't consider this lousy game even worth spending time with. The graphics are horrible and most of the time you can't tell what you're doing

Star Wars games, the portable ones in particular, are usually horrible. They suffer from a number of problems, and seem like they were rushed onto the market just so that George Lucas could make a quick buck off of his now legendary film series. For shame, George. How does Yoda Stories, for the Game Boy Color, measure up? Read on and find out.

PROS:
-IT'S AN ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME, SO THERE'S NO JAR JAR! YAY! That's about it for the good things I have to say about this game.

CONS:
-THE ANIMATION IS INEXCUSABLY BAD. Every time you take a step, your character just appears on the next space over - It's not animated at all! And this is only where the problems begin.
-GAME PLAY IS SLUGGISH AND UNRESPONSIVE. You attack with your lightsaber, but the attack button is very slow to respond. In fact, sometimes when I pushed the button, nothing happened at all!
-THIS THE WORST STAR WARS GAME EVER. I've played some bad ones before, but this one just takes the cake. It's obvious Lucas Arts was more concerned with George's desire to make a fast buck than by their own desires to create an excellent portable game, and this cost them dearly.

OVERALL:
Pathetic. Godawful. Hunk of junk. Whatever bad word you use to describe this game works - it's a piece of garbage with no redeeming values. Shame on you, George Lucas, for your desire to rack in the cash from your fans.

The PC version is much superior to this semi-lackluster Game Boy version. Sure, the graphics and control are much better on the PC, but the Game Boy Color version uses what it has for a pretty enjoyable expierence. The main annoyance is the character movement and choppy controls, but the graphics are decent and make good use of Game Boy Color's palette (this also works on regular black and white Game Boy/Game Boy Pocket). The game does eat up some time, and is very distracting and gets very involving. It's a good effort, not a great game, but still fun, long and challanging when you got down to it. Good for long trips and such, plus it features a password system, so you don't have to start from square one.

Yoda Stories comes with all the Star Wars (1st trilogy) universe. But controlling the charachter is difficult, expecially during combat, and missions are few but quite long, and you can save only between them. I've found this game very frustating.
