This is one game that every game-cuber should buy. I, not even being a skater, or a fan of skating for that matter, decided to buy the game (had some extra cash) and was amazed!!! It is soooooooooo much fun and extremely addictive. Out of the 8 game cube games i have tried, this one is probably my favorite. Go get it! seriously! i would not waste my time off from school to write this review if i didn't think it deserved mad props! Kareem Cambell is my fave skater....

Tony Hawk has never looked better!

What esle can you say? The soundtrack is great, the moves are prefectly animated, and the levels are detailed down to the last inch. Anybody who liked the first two games should not wait to pick this game up.

Wow!!

This is a really awesome game that deserves a lot of credit. I'm a Tony Hawk fan and what I saw in this game really surprised me. These levels are nearly twice as big and there are all new moves for the players. There is also specific goals for each skater so it's no more starting the game over again with a new player and doing the same stuff like in the previous game. The all new levels are also awesome and the graphics have made a major leap from the N64 Tony Hawk's Pro Skaer 2 and they have improved a lot from the Playstation 2 Tony Hawk 2. Also what is really nifty is the ability to create a female skater in the Create A Skater option. My advice to those who have never played Tony Hawk before is to buy this game because you can start of clean with an amazing view of this game. And for those who have played Tony Hawk before I really recomend that you buy this game because it is much better than Tony Hawk 1 and 2. You can buy this game for any recent system and it's really woth your time and money.

A solid playing experience.

I love playing this game, so far it is my favorite
title on the gamecube. The graphics are very nice the
soundtrack it excellent and the options are fantastic.
Tons of bonus stuff and fantastic tricks.
The only problem is I miss some of the songs from
Tony Hawk 2, but it is no problem to turn the music
off and listen to my own music, that is why I have a stereo
after all. This game is a classic.

Its GREAT!!!

I'm glad the GameCube version doesnt have online play because ive played THPS3 online for PS2 and it (...)!!!!!! The GameCube is deffinetly the best version of THPS3.

This game is great! People that have owned thps 2 will be amazed at the stunning graphics of the console played on and the awesome gameplay. The worlds are all brand new and the tricks also. Many tricks have been brought back but some great new tricks have been added. I bought this game as my first gamecube game, i enjoy it every single day and i think every gamecube owner should own thps 3!

One of the best games ever!!!

i have played all of the tony hawk games and i am glad they fixed the few things i thought were wrong with the originals: the skate park editors in the other game really stunk but this one should be much better, the create-a-player will be a huge improvement because the others had so many restictions that didn't fit because some of the players in the game had these things on that you couldn't give your player. i cannot wait to get this game when it is out in my city. it should be a must buy for all sports and extreme loving gamers.

At first, I was a bit skeptical, wondering if I should buy a gamecube or not. Then I played Tony 3 for Gamecube for the first time. There is no doubt in my mind which is the best system. The gamecube controller is by far the best I have ever seen, and the graphics, computer AI, and new features are superbly utilized. Also, for a hundred dollars less than the Xbox or the PS2, the Gamecube is a relative bargain. The only drawback is the harsh price of the game.

Gamecube version good, PS2 version better

The gamecube version of THPS3 is almost as good as the PS2 version. The only reason I say this is that the PS2 version includes online play while the GC version does not. If multiplayer is not your thing, then I suggest buying this version for its slightly improved graphics. One more minor complaint - the GC directional pad doesn't feel as good as the PS2's. Other than that, this is an amazing game that everyone should play.

The Best Tony Hawk Game Ever!

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is a series renowned for its amazing gameplay. THPS3 completely wipes the floor with the past two games, and all of its sequels have failed to greatly improve upon it. Simply put, it is the very best game in the series.
Many reviewers have given this game near-perfect or perfect scores. On the basis of its visuals, gameplay, variety, replay value, unlockables, and most everything else, I'd have to say that it pretty near earns those accolades. However, there is one thing that has ALWAYS bothered me about THPS - that is, the music. Some people love it, others are just fine with it. I immediately turn off the music whenever I play the stinkin' game, and I would have appreciated other options besides "ambience." I can't stand skater punk music.
I can't urge you enough to give this game a chance, though. It has made its indelible mark on the gaming world, and it deserves to be played. Do it.
The PS2 version is superior due to its steady framerate and online play. Otherwise, this is just as good.
