I have to admit, I was never a big fan of the THPS series, but I was willing to play this one at my friend's house. Well, nothing's changed from the original, and I personally don't see how anyone could find virtual skateboarding enjoyable. Okay, I admit, its sort of fun pissing off people, but a much better game for that is Sonic Adventure 2.
I don't see what this game has over other games. If anyone's ever played The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for N64, then you'll see that it has the goron racing feature, when you roll around. Well, you know the jumps in Snowhead and Termina Field (I'm still refering to Zelda)? My point is is that, you can fit Tony Hawk into a quarter of a game like Zelda, and still have room for millions of other things. I also think that it was a stupid idea to release this game for Gamecube, next to Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime, and Zelda The Wind Waker. I'm surprised that its still staying alive next to those three!

Fun But......

This game is fun for a little while but after you get some good levels you don't really want to play any more. I got up to the shipyard level and just got bored with the repeditive tasks. After you play the game through you expect it to be fun for ever but since you already spent all the time on a game that gets boring so quick you just don't want it any more. [...]

Good. . . but not Great

This game is good I must admit, but once you complete the first 2-3 levels... it gets boring. It's pretty mucht he same chalanges over and over again,(but at a different place).

Oh yeah... the songs u can listen to are Horrbible. One sond from Iron Maiden is the best song in thw world... and the only 1/4 deacent in this game. They need to put more Maiden... and forget this punk stuff. Either way... it's not as good as i hoped.

expanding, expanding...

Speaking as an owner of all of the previous Tony Hawk games for N64 and Gamecube, Tony Hawk 4 makes some drastic changes for the better. I can't say that the graphics are stunning, because they seem the same or just a tad better than THPS 3, but I can say that taking out that rediculous time limit that was old after the first game was a great idea. Other new ideas are the long awaited spine transfer, the idea of Pro Challenges which is one challenge that is unique to each individual skater (which is how you unlock the movies in this one)and the way that you have to talk to people to unlock goals, almost exactly like in the game Aggressive Inline. Although some goals are rediculously hard and frustrating, you can buy cheats for not much cash that will help you out greatly. Speaking of the cash, it is skattered all over the level like in THPS 2. To get more special trick slots, you must complete certain goals on each level that have to do with doing special tricks in insane places like doing a special trick over a huge gap or something along those lines. You have to buy the special characters, the cheats, and the movies that do not feature a skater. A change in the gameplay is the addition of new flatground moves. If you have seen Rodney Mullen's video from THPS 3, you were amazed. Now, you can do all those moves and more without moving in the game, such as pogos, casper flips, handstands, or handstand flips to name a few. You can use these to get your special meter up also, which is very handy in tight places. The multiplayer mode in the Tony Hawk series has never been great, but it keeps up the good work with new modes you can play in. Overall, with huge, great levels, new ideas, fun goals, and long movies, Tony Hawk 4 is still a must have for anyone who owns a system that supports it.

Unless you've been living on Mars, in a cave, with your eye closed and your fingers in your ears, you'll have heard of the Tony Hawk Series 4. It is the best one yet: you can skate in a zoo, or in Alcatraz. You can also buy a new skater. I bought Jago Fett. This version does not have many added tricks, although this is not a big problem since they had enough good tricks already. The only good new trick is that you can grab people's cars and they will pull you along.

Once Again...

It's a great game, but if you have an Xbox or PS2 buy it on those instead. PS2 offers online play, Xbox offers best graphics, GameCube offers nothing. It's up to you.

JANGO FETT! (spoilers)

I love this game. It is some times hard, but I love free skating.

Graphics:4 out of 5 The graphics are detailed, but the camera gets glitchy.

Gameplay: 5 out of 5 The goals are hard, but its fun to free skate. The tricks all have detailed animations. You can't get off your board, but wait till underground, which I also have.

Sound- 4 out of 5- I don't like rap, but I loved the punk and rock. My favorite song in the Game is TNT by ACDC. I can't get it out of my head.

Unlockables- 5 out of 5 WOOHOO! Jango Fett! You can unlock him(:.

I'm 13, but I don't want to share my personal info.

Totally Awesome!
