Fun But......

This game is fun for a little while but after you get some good levels you don't really want to play any more. I got up to the shipyard level and just got bored with the repeditive tasks. After you play the game through you expect it to be fun for ever but since you already spent all the time on a game that gets boring so quick you just don't want it any more. [...]

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 may very well be the best skateboarding game ever conceived. The variety of challenges is astonishing, and the graphics are just really slick and smooth. The controls are also wonderful, absolutely nothing to complain about.

Another wonderful feauture in this game is the replayability, it is virtually endless, as well as the in game cheat codes you can spend your, "cash" on.

In the end, this is an incredible game that can't afford to be missed.

tony hawk pro skater 4 is really fun......if u cheat.something that might be helpful is on the menu go to options. then,go to cheats.type in "watch_me_xplode"then go to career mode,new career,yes,then press escape(on the upper left hand side of key board)and go to options,cheats,and then put in whatever cheats u want.if it just said 'done' it didn't work...........have fuuuun!(i know i will)

I love this game. It is some times hard, but I love free skating.

Graphics:4 out of 5 The graphics are detailed, but the camera gets glitchy.

Gameplay: 5 out of 5 The goals are hard, but its fun to free skate. The tricks all have detailed animations. You can't get off your board, but wait till underground, which I also have.

Sound- 4 out of 5- I don't like rap, but I loved the punk and rock. My favorite song in the Game is TNT by ACDC. I can't get it out of my head.

Unlockables- 5 out of 5 WOOHOO! Jango Fett! You can unlock him(:.

this game is the best ever. atuily i liked underground a bit more but. this game is great and worth every penny. you can play as soo many skaters and the creat a skater option is better then ever its like the sims...kinda... yeah i agree the screams are a lil much but...she split in half? like a glitch?... huh anyway this game is the bomb BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!

Being a fan of gamecube,I was glad this game came out for gamecube. I was introduced to it by Xbox,and I soon fell in love with the game. After,I got into skateboarding myself. I was happy I got it.This game is good for a skateboard fan or even someone who is just interested in the sport. It teaches you tricks,and all about 14 of the hottest pros! It also includes 8 fun action-packed levels including real places like Alcatraz,Kona,and San Francisco. If you love skateboarding,this is the game for you!

BEST GAME IN THE WHOLE SERIES!!!! Best graphics, best character creator, best graphics, best ramps, best graphics, simulator, best graphics, most fun, graphics, graphics, GRAPHICS!!!! oh, and did I mention graphics??? This is the number 1 game i own. wow, i got this 2 years ago and it is still my most played game. this takes a step up from previous hawks titles by have you recieve missions from diffrent people. I hated the time limitations of previous hawks games, but they are gone now. This also means a lot more missions and difficulty to sustain you forever. I still cant quite get the 1,500000 point sick score in Chicago. As for the soundtrack we have top notch music. A mix of punk(sex pistols, hot water music, the faction, us bombs, flogging molley) pop punk(less than jake, bouncing souls, goldfinger), metal(Iron maiden, ACDC, system of a down) and old school rap(run dmc, public enemy) and more. Graphics are excellent, especially the character models are awsome. Designing your own skater has always been fun and the create your own park is preety decent, even though those never come out great. This game is perfect in every way. If you dont have this one, get it, even if youve got Underground, this one is the best thing that ever come out of the series.

tony hawk proskater 4 is definetly a good use of your money. it would take a very very very experienced gamer a couple of hours to beat at the least. it is also easy to learn the tricks on. i have opened up three levels already and i am a pretty bad video gamer. her is a list of it's pros and cons, enjoy.

Pros

o Create a skater; you can create your own skater. You can edit scale, torso, head, legs, boards, gender and much more
o Create a park; you can create your own park with stuff to do spins, flip tricks, and grinds off.
o Two player mode; you can play two player if you have two controllers. In two player mode, you can compete in things like trick attack, king of the hill, slap, combo mambo, or just plain free skate
o Options; you can edit the songs that play, what order they play in, and the music and sound volume levels
o Career mode; career mode offers hours of fun while you complete tasks to open new levels. You can pass the controller around at a party and have everyone complete one task or you could complete them all by yourself. You can create as many careers as you want
o You can also do one player free skate and trick attack.
o Levels; the levels are challenging yet fun in their own ways. Some have lots of ramps to jump off of, while others have a lot of grind objects.

Cons

o You can turn the blood off for a less-violent game, but if you still have the sound on, you can hear the person screaming when they fall badly
o Elisa Steamer; once I was playing with one of my friends and she had Elisa Steamer. Every time she falls down, she screams a very murderous scream that is not the nicest thing you have ever heard. Also, my friend was trying to do a trick with Elisa Steamer, and she felon her head and split in half (Elisa Steamer split in half, not my friend).
o Frustration; if you are playing career mode, you may get a little frustrated by some of the challenging tasks. You may also keep trying to complete a task without success, which will result in you being glued to the TV screen (or gcn monitor) and the only thing anyone will get out of you is a grunt.

overall, tony hawk pro skater 4 is a very good use of your money and it also helps to pass time quickly, like i needed to today. i hope that you decide to get it because it is a very fun game.
