Gamecube- Karaoke Revolution Party Vol. 4

This game kept our family singing for hours! The only thing is that we only have one microphone and no dance mat so..... we can't enjoy everything on it. These items are not easy to find for the gamecube. But even so the graphics are exactly the same as the play station and what child doesn't wan't to be a rock star. In fact , what parent's don't want to be a rock star. Overall it's entertaining

FUN, but be sure you get a microphone!

This game is a blast! Just be sure you get a microphone to go with it! I ordered the game thinking that a mic was included. Why call it a "Bundle" if it is just the game, right? Be sure you ask your seller if the mic is included, because it probably isn't. I bought mine from a "New" listing and no mic!

I chose to buy this version over the newer releases with downloadable capabilities because I do not like the American Idol show or judges. It has a lot of songs I recognize in the play list including "I'll Be" and also it has a similar game engine to Rock Band vocals which I enjoyed but wasn't willing to spend $ on to have my own. I planned on using the game in my Wii but I've also tried it in the game cube and it works just fine in both. I bought a microphone for my Wii to use with this game but unfortunately it was only compatible with the game cube mic that came in the bundle. The character creation is limited but not too bad - I ended up with a singer that looks a lot like me, but my husband had a lot of trouble with his. Singing is fun and the words are at a good speed. The karaoke function which is unscored is not as cool, but the choice of venues to sing at and the unlockable items you can get are great. I wish there were more songs, and also that you could get a particular genre or style of music - the play list is really diverse and there are only about 6 songs I can sing really well. Of course it's a party bundle and Karaoke is supposed to be about singing badly and having a good time with friends so it does do that very well. There is nothing like a baaad rendition of "American Woman" to get a party started :)I will probably buy other Karaoke Revolution games in the future, and ultimately I recommend this game to others.

Really great way to party and have fun singing-(and-dancing) your favorite tunes

One of my favourites!!! The game is as good as its song list, which is (too) varied and has something for everyone. If you own "Dance Dance Revolution", you can sing and dance at the same time, which is challenging. Alternatively, you sing and your partner do the dancing. It is fun to create and design the characters too.
Here is partial listing of the 50-song list (not provided by Amazon):

Always - Atlantic Starr
American Woman
Brick House
Call Me
Crazy - Aerosmith
Crazy in Love
Do You Really Want to Hurt Me - Culture Club
Drive
Dust in the Wind
Endless Love - Lionel Richie and Diana Ross
Everybody Wants to Rule the Word - Tears for Fears
Everywhere - Michelle Branch
Fame - Irene Cara
Fly - Hilary Duff - one of my contemporary favourites on the list
Greatest Love of All - Whitney Houston
Headstrong
I Don't Wanna Be
I Left My Heart in San Francisco - Tony Bennett
I Love Rock and Roll - Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
I Will Always Love You - Whitney Houston
If You Could Only See
Material Girl - Madonna
Me and Bobby McGee
Pieces of Me - Ashlee Simpson
Play that Funky Music
Start Me Up - Rolling Stones
Superstition - Stevie Wonder
Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond
Take On Me
Takin' Care of Business
That's Amore - Dean Martin
Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper
Turn The Beat Around - Gloria Estefan
Unforgettable - Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole
Uptown Girl - Billy Joel
What I Like About You
Who Can It Be Now? - Men at Work

What's up with that.

I think the game is so awesome. It is so much fun to be able to have to sing perfectly on the note bar. The only thing that is bad about it is that it doesn't have very many accessories to go with it. Like for the Playstation volume, there are headsets that you can sing in to it, but for the gamecube it just has these very cheap looking microphones. They work well though, and you don't even have to hold down the button on them to sing. That was a huge relief for me. My advice, if you have a Playstation, buy that one instead, but if you just have a Gamecube. Buy it!!! It is one of the coolest games ever. It is so much fun to make your character.

The Greatest Game for Gamecube!

Just today, I got Karaoke Revolution. My 15 year old brother wasn't interested in it much but he watched me, an 11 year old girl, and my 9 year old sister play it. We loved it immediatly. A lot of the songs, though, my mom knew and I didn't! But we managed. One really cool part of this game is that you get to create your own character. There is a dancing mode where you sing and dance. I find it hard (the dancing mode). That's the only problem I find with this game. If your doing dance mode, I recomend you do a song you know very well. You mostly pay attention to the dance steps instead of the song. But it rocks! I love this game and I recomend it for kids ages 8 and up!

FUN GAME MY DAUGHTER LOVES IT.

If your kids like to dance and sing they will love this game. Some of the songs are older and my daughter who is 9 did not recognize them, but she still enjoys it. I would recommend this game.

It's fairly difficult if you're a weak singer like me, but if you have friends with musical skills it's a great party game. It also supports a dance pad which would be fantastic if you have one.

Well worth the money.
