FUN, but be sure you get a microphone!

This game is a blast! Just be sure you get a microphone to go with it! I ordered the game thinking that a mic was included. Why call it a "Bundle" if it is just the game, right? Be sure you ask your seller if the mic is included, because it probably isn't. I bought mine from a "New" listing and no mic!

I chose to buy this version over the newer releases with downloadable capabilities because I do not like the American Idol show or judges. It has a lot of songs I recognize in the play list including "I'll Be" and also it has a similar game engine to Rock Band vocals which I enjoyed but wasn't willing to spend $ on to have my own. I planned on using the game in my Wii but I've also tried it in the game cube and it works just fine in both. I bought a microphone for my Wii to use with this game but unfortunately it was only compatible with the game cube mic that came in the bundle. The character creation is limited but not too bad - I ended up with a singer that looks a lot like me, but my husband had a lot of trouble with his. Singing is fun and the words are at a good speed. The karaoke function which is unscored is not as cool, but the choice of venues to sing at and the unlockable items you can get are great. I wish there were more songs, and also that you could get a particular genre or style of music - the play list is really diverse and there are only about 6 songs I can sing really well. Of course it's a party bundle and Karaoke is supposed to be about singing badly and having a good time with friends so it does do that very well. There is nothing like a baaad rendition of "American Woman" to get a party started :)I will probably buy other Karaoke Revolution games in the future, and ultimately I recommend this game to others.

it should have others on gamecube

I love playing this game at my friends house but she has an xBox and I have a gamecube so when I lookeed for it online I got frusterated it cost so much if I wanteed it for my game cube and I can only get a certain kind

I bought this for my 11 yr old daughter's birthday. I had no idea what the game was just that she loves to sing and I cannot find enough outlets in the community for her age group. She is constantly playing it and I will play along with her (even though I am not the one in the family with the American Idol personality!) I would buy more versions of this game for game cube if I could find some. Definite must have if you like to sing.

I bought this game after reading about it on the web site of an author I respect and admire. My whole family has had a blast singing the songs and watching the characters. The system for showing you the words, rhythm, and pitch is great, and the pitch indicators are spot on. The collection of songs is eclectic and fun, and when we have houseguests, everyone can find something they like in the list.

I got this game for the family at Christmas...and everyone loves playing it. Even though the songs aren't that familiar to my sons (11 and 7), they have enjoyed learning them and trying to beat their own scores. It's very easy to get started and easy to learn. One of our best Gamecube game purchases as far as total family fun.

This game is sooo much fun .....everybody can play...even if you cannot sing [and trust me it is funnier when you cannot sing].....we had company over and everyone loved it.....I would recommend it .......I only wish I knew where to get a second microphone......

This game is addicting. I bought it after going to a friend's house and playing it there. I never thought I was a karaoke person before, but this is really fun, and easier than regular karaoke because it shows you if you need to sing higher or lower, and you can look at the TV, not at the faces of the people who are watching you. Very addicting and a great party game. The only thing I would change is that I wish there were more costumes and people choices, and more songs would be great, but I'll have to buy another version for that, which I plan to.
