I sold my Dreamcast a while back, a long while back and now regret it. I cant stop wanting to play this game. Dang i wish i could play it on my Xbox. The controller is prefect for the game. I still remember the filling and the squills of my Friends as i jump down behind them as Dark ages spawn. They new they where dead. or when my cousen missed a shot with twitch and found a tremer fist in his face. OH YES I REMEMBER i guess i will have to buy a dream cast agian just for the game.

Don't sleep on this Sleeper Hit (with very few misses..)

After previous "attempts" from other game companies to produce a decent game based on todd mc farlane's #1 Son, In comes the venerable CAPCOM That finally does the game some justice.

in spawn, you have been picked by arch demon malbolgia to fight with and against warriors to the death, in a shootout free-for-all.

the gameplay is somewhat remeniscent of Quake arena meets power stone with an Arcade approach (which the game was originally ported from the arcades.) the game starts you off with 12 stock charcters, which you can unlock an additional 24 each with their own special abilities, strengths and weaknesses.

the graphics are gorgoues with multi staged arenas from atop new york sky scrapers, to the burning pits of hell. (not to mention the many hidden weapon and power ups within) all in excellent resolution and frame rate too bad it lacks online compatability.. oh wellz.

i was in awe of the intro along with the chessy metal song "rip it up" it is the best intro since Dead or Alive 2.

I strongly recommend that DC owners who like a lil' hardcore action on SEGA'S 128 Bit box (or those who are impatiently awaiting QUAKE, and need their FRAG FIX sooner) to order this "Killa" from capcom.

Spawn is a must buy!!

When i first saw Spawn:In the Demons Hand for Sega Dreamcast i was not sure whether the game would be any good. I remember the other spawn games for other syatems and i was always dissapointed. I am not a large Spawn comic book fan but i do think those action figures were pretty cool. I decided to get the game because it looked like a pretty good game, but i kept the reciept just in case.

I threw that reciept away so fast. This game is the most incredible game i have played in a long time. It has so much replay and great multiplayer, i just loved it. It reminds me of a mixture between Quake 3 Arena and Power Stone 2. The crazy gun battles with awesome powerups, combined with huge multi-level arenas and items of mass destruction scattered about the arena makes this one crazy game. The camera and controls seemed odd at first but they became like second nature. Each charachter you pick has his own certain weapons ans super attacks it takes a while before you master them all. Go pick this one up as soon as possible, trust me you wont be dissapointed.

This game is the best game on dreamcast. You have an uncountable amount of hidden characters that you can only unlock by beating the boss mode with different characters each time. Sometimes you get 2 new characters, 1 new character, or, unfortunatly none. You can play for hours without putting down your controllers. I couldn't.

FINALLY A GOOD SPAWN GAME!

After many failed attemptes to a good spawn game finally capcom steped in. This is agreat shoot-um-up, action packed blood bath. Easy controls, five modes of play, and lots and lots of secret charichters just add to the fun. There are some minor camera problems, but is deffinatlly worth buying. So stop reading and buy it now!

I didnt no wat to think when i bought this because of spawns bad video game seen before. This game is from tha arcade and is better then its original. Multi player is awesome to bad no online. those who have the aracde stick get this. variety of characters 100's of weapons this is up with quake 3 arena and unreal tournament. Graphics are as good as quake and unreal but charcater sight is in a sky view which makes it looks not as good but it is.

Multiplayer fun WITHOUT the difficult fps controls

On most current games like Unreal 2 for Xbox, you have to control the aiming manually. But with this Spawn game for Dreamcast, it has automatic lock-on aiming, and the sword and axe weapons do not require you to aim.

So it's very easy to control your characters movement, and it's not frustrating.

There are over 30 characters taken from the comicbook. And most of them look great in 3D graphics.

I think this is one of the top 5 games made for the Dreamcast. Although the Dreamcast certainly had more than 20 games that were A+ quality.

Mulitplayer options abound in Spawn

Spawn:In the Demons Hand, is a game reminscent of Gauntlet, where more friends are not only better, they are needed to unlock more aspects of the storyline, and aid in unlocking special characters. The graphics are top rate, the special powers are wonderfull to see if you are a fan of the comics, HBO animated series, or someone just in awe of the world of SPAWN. The controls have a slight learning curve of a half hour, or so, until you master the art of aquiring or switching weapons in combat. All the characters are there, each with distinct abilites, some abilities like the SPAWN Mythos drain your very life force when you use them. Others merely require you to reload, the Angels from Heaven are stunning, plus they can move as one would expect(they fly). The Violater, is here in all his glory, the characters are well rounded, the choice of weapons is excellent. This game has a high replay value if only to unlock the extra 24 characters, multiplayer is fantastic, the display icons could be larger, but aside from an occasional camera angle snafu (i.e. you get blindsided in corners), this game is a must have for fans, & multiplayers alike.

Bloody Marvelous, mostly!

Spawn, is a game that is alot of fun if you realyy get into it. Though sometimes it get difficult with the frequent death rate, in the end you still love the havoc you can reek with a missile launcher or magical chains. The graphics are crisp and the camera is pretty decent. The framerate is a solid 60 fps and the weapons are plentiful and amusing. If your a fighting game fan and you want take a break from massive combo capcom fighters, pick this title up. If your looking for fighting depth, look elsewhere. This is maniac fighters only. At least a rental, for everyone else.

The game looks as to if it has alot of good graphics. The villans are the ones who come from the comics right to the video game. It would make the game an intense and most wanted to play game.
