I'll tell you what I think of this game as soon as it lets me finish a match without crashing.
Call me crazy, but I don't think you should have to have a degree in computer science to get a GAME to work. If you have the requirements (which my PC MORE than has), the game should run. You shouldn't have to worry about your BIOS or DMA or whether Virus Scan is running to be able to play.
I had problems with this literally from install. Then I couldn't do little things like adjust the resolution so that I could actually SEE the units. Not that it mattered since it would freeze my entire computer to the point of needing to unplug it a before I even got into the game itself. This one's going back to the store until I find out they debugged it enough that the average layman can install it and actually play.

A great improvment on an Excellent game. Only disappointment is that you can't access the same titans from the campaign in the quick game and that the titans aren't named. I think that they should be, afterall, they are Gods. I'd also like to see a patch that gives you access the the Norse Giant Hero. He was pretty cool. But the Roles of the heros are great and The atlantean army is awesome.
Does not work!

The previous Age of Empire games worked fine on my computer, but this one evidently won't because of my video card. This could have been avoided if the packaging had offered more details, but game companies these days would rather let the buyer not beware and then let them get stuck with trying to get their money back. Forget any help from their customer care, either!

Age Of Mythology is a very exciting game. The graphics are extremly good, mugh better than Age Of Empires. The soundtrack and music is very good to. They have a varity of types of music. There are levels of diffuculty for when you play Age of Mythology. This comes in handy. Age Of Mythology is a learning experience and is very fun. I recomennd this game for kids ages 10 to 15.
Just get it

Its simple. If you already have Age of Mythology, and LOVED IT, then most certainly get Titans. This game adds so much to the original version with more units, and one extra civilization. The multiplayer gameplay has improved greatly.
Best game ever

This game is great. Think about Age of Empires: The Age of Kings, then add in some "God Powers" different civilizations, and some strange beasts with amazing abilities. Yep, thats Age of Mythology. Each of the civilizations funtions in a different way. It's a challeng at first but once you get the hang of it you'll love it. Great game in every aspect from the sound effects and music, to the graphics and the great voice over acting in the campaign video sequences. If you love real time strategy games then you should definately buy this game.

Ok, I've had AoM for about 8 months and it's taken me that long to write this review because I've been hooked to the games. In fact, it's about 3AM as I write this review, only because I took a pause in the game to review it.
This game is AMAZING! The storyline is great (mesmerizing the first time you play and engrossing every other time) and the speed and skills of the computer player match perfectly with your level of skill. What is truly amazing is the 3D graphics. I LOVE being able to scroll my mouse button and have the entire map move around for me so I can see the fight from a different angle! Believe me, that makes a difference in the middle of a big fight. The technologies are great and the God Powers are fun to use. Having played online, I hate when people use the cheats, but some of them are really funny.
AoM also comes with Random Map, where you can hone your skills against a computer player(and the computer is really smart! I've had to learn to play much more aggressively in order to win) and Edit (where you can create your own map). I love creating maps then having friends play on them to critique.
All in All, this is a must buy GAME. I can't wait for Microsoft to put out the new campaign!

Having played many of the other "RTS" games out there, I can vouch for the streamlined gameplay and look of Age of Mythology. Streamlined is the keyword since nothing new was added to the RTS genre with this game. Everything in this game has been done before in games like Age of Kings, Total Annihilation Kingdoms, and Warcraft. However, Age of Mythology brings all of the traditional RTS elements together brilliantly.
The graphics engine is superb with a crisp, elaborate, and stable 3D engine. The soundtrack merits its own cd (which I believe they do sell). I was quite surprised at the amazing soundtrack after reading a couple of reviews on this website heavily criticizing it. I disagree with those thoughts completely.
The only thing lacking in this game is something lacking in almost all RTS games. It is perhaps an unfair criticism which is why I gave them five stars. I do not consider current RTS games to have a true strategic element to them. You are much better at "RTS" games if you have the quickest hand eye coordination. Those able to click all of their military into the correct spot the quickest are the most competent players. You can have a real-time element without the click-fest.
