This game is great. I love how it is a combination of the book and the movie. The movie was good, but I was disappointed that it didn't have the jump suits; but this game does. The game is great because it starts before the movie took place and it goes on after the movie ended. The game has great graphics and an excellent storyline. I thought that this game would be like most other strategy games, short, easy to beat, and hard to play. But this game is long, really hard to beat, and really easy to play. This game will be the next Half-Life.

This is a directive game in which you play head honcho, kinda like "Warcraft". You can choose from many permutations of weapons, troopers, and the skills they possess. The bugs are pretty fun to kill as well as difficult. Great graphics is an added plus. I played the demo then bought the game within the same hour. This game gives you hours of fun then makes you feel like you want to go squish some bugs of your own. If you liked "warcraft," or "starcraft," or both, then this is one that you can't pass up.

You've been warned.

I've seen many picture and read many reviews of this game and it looks TERRIFIC! I am getting this game when it comes out and it seems like its going to be one if not THE BEST 3D RTS game ever made! It took over 3 years to complete and the movie was a BlockBuster HIT FILM of 1997 so, it should be the BlockBuster HIT GAME of 2000! It has great AI, graphics, and gameplay! The BUGS that you annihilate in the game are sooo realistic that you'll WET YOURSELF! Its not so bad of a game it is preety good. graphics are good gameplay is good just its a little hard. if you liked the movie at least download the game demo .if you like it buy the game i think its a good game and its worth the money.

If your into scifi games like Alien vs Predator 2 then you will love this game. You don't even need to love scifi stuff too because it is a great real time stratagy game. It is a very good game but sadly didn't do so well in the stors hence the reason why it is very hard to find this game any where.

It's Pure and Simple if you want a game were you fight against large alian bugs that threaten to destroy Earth and all mankind. If you want over 30 packed levels of fun and intrige And SUPRISES EVERYWHERE AND TWISTS AND TURN TO LAST A LIFETIME.
If you Don't mind having a game with my personal graphics rating of about 83%. Finally if you want to have a 1st and 3rd player view of the soldiers and decide what weapons they have and what they attack and tell them what formations to do and finally protecting Higher ranking soldiers than you and defend you and your men and earth THAN BUY THIS GAMES CAUSE IF YOU LIKE WHAT I JUST SAID THAN YOU WILL LIKE THIS GAME. ( DON'T GET ME WRONG IF U HAVE 2ND THOUGHTS JUST THINK WILL YOU GET BORED OF IT IN A FEW MONTHS DON'T BECAUSE RATHER SAVE YOUR MONEY ON SOMETHING YOU DEFINITY WANT. IF NOT BUY IT YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

I didn't know this game was even being made until about three days before it was realeased and I was thinking that it was just another way for someone to ruin the book. I decided to download the demo and was acctually impressed. I went out the next day and bought the full version. I'm glad they decided to make a game to possibly make up for the really and I stress REALLY bad movie(yeah Casper van Dean HE'S a great actor:P). If you're looking for a good game to kill sometime give this one a try especially if you didn't like the movie and are a fan of the book.

Even though I haven't seen any screenshots of this Game I know it will be great, because Micropose made great games like Worms, Worms 2, Worms Armagedon, Mechwarrior 3, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Etc. All of those games were great sellers, so I'm sure Starship Troopers will be great too.

This is the best squad-based game EVER!!!!!!! It is in your face, bug-killing FUN!! Use tactical manuvers to carry out missions. But always, ALWAYS be cautious because you never know when an acid-spitter (Tanker Bug) might find you! From shooting bugs to nuking bugholes this game will keep you on the the edge of your seat wanting MORE!!!!! What do you do when you see bugs? Here's an idea, KILL THEM!!! KILL THEM ALL!!!!
