I Have allways liked the Civil War so when I saw this game I new I had to have it. The great grafficks and realistic videos and voices yank you back in to the Civiv War years.

I was looking for a cheap game that would hopefully give me a few hours of entertainment. This was not the right choice...way too out of date.

I have the civil war in gate in school. It is so fun. No matter what people say it is the funest game i have ever played. NO i am a smart kid maybe thats why i like it its about history!!!!!!!!!

This game stinks. It reaks. My dog looked at me while I was playing it, and he was like, "Hey, why are you wasting your time with that garbage? Play Age, and wait for a decent Civil War RTS." Then he laid a big dog log on the floor to show what he thought of the game. YUCK!!

When you play the game it grabs you in and puts you on Cemetary hill.When you defend the high ground hold Longstreet hold him!The Picketss charge. Hurray.May Meade win!Or General Lee.March!March!March!Best Civil war game.Don't buy Civil war Generals 1 or 2. I got them once and returned it for a promt refund.And when I got this I had little time for empire earth.The Rebs the Yankees. Their men at your disposel.Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!!!!!!!!

This is as good as strategy gaming gets. Three games recreate pivotal events in American history. From the Union push on the Confederate defenses at South Mountain, to the bloody fields and roads of Antietam, and on to the massacre that is Gettysburg, relive the bloodiest days of America's past! Grade: A+

Sometimes I wonder if these reviewers have a personal interest.Ok I bought the civil war package. I'm a 50 year old guy who enjoys strategy games and thought it sounded fun. " Grant-ed" the historical parts are cool. But "Lee's" be frank, I had more fun watching paint dry. The optics reminded me of the early Command & Conquer series. Slow, boring, repetitive- almost got hemmeroids waiting for some action!If your a hard core Civil War buff you'll like it, if you like action try Command & Conquer Red Alert 2, and wait for Civil war to catch up to the 21st century!
