I really enjoy this game. I have played the original for the past 6 months and decided to get this one. My entire family likes to play and we have to compete for computer time. The 3-D view is a bit trickier to navigate when you are used to the original 2-D, but you get the hang of it after a while.

Not a good game unless you have an XP

i downloaded the demo on my windows me and it didn't even work if i even bought the game it either wouldn't work or would go really slow but i do like the rct1&2 they are awsome i would defnetly buy this game if i had an XP though

The game itself is cool enough to buy. You have to have unlimited card space or it will play really slowly. I have played this game for over two weeks and I enjoy playing it. You can create your own theme parks, peeps, and rides, which allows you to be creative, but I prefer to play the integrated scenarios, because I'm only a beginner at this stuff. You can also create fireworks displays, or laser shows, or even water shows, which I have only skimmed.
Overall, you have basically unlimited gameplay and if you need help on a subject, such as pools, they have tutorials there to show you how to do it right. They make it as lifelike as possible, in this game.
The only game glitch that's apparent at this moment is that in the Scenario Editor, if you try to expand the park, and you have hills and gullies, the shadowing will mess up and look weird. I don't know if this affects the gameplay or not but I think it's because it's creating space on the memory card.
In spite of that, it's a really neat game and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

the last two games have sort of depressing music but they were good. this game is good also. i like that you can ride the rides now. i play it from time to time. the first couple of senerios are eazy but some are hard. i haven't beat them all.

I have enjoyed tycoon games in the past and bought this one because it was one of the top rated games. I have only played it for about an hour or 2. It's presentation turned me off. Game appears tedious to get in to, link graphics look like a cheap kids game. Maybe I'll get to it someday, but I suggest that you try it before you buy it.

Couldn't load RCT3

My husband and son spent almost 24 hours trying to load and run RCT3. We let our son open it as an early Christmas gift, and what a let down! We have 3 computers, all of which are Windows XP, and NONE of them could run this! My husband and I are both software engineers, and are very used to computer and software loading issues, so you can imagine our dismay with the fact that we couldn't get this to run on ANY of our computers! We finally just let him download RCT2 from the internet ($15 on top of the $20 we paid for the CD-ROM Gold package on Amazon) and RCT2 is running fine.

I vote for downloading the software vs. buying the CD-ROM package. I'll never make this mistake again!

WOW!! more tycoons they just make more and MORE in this one you still have coaster cam and cope with chaning weather. You can make water rides and roller coasters the game has two tycoon games roller coaster tycoon and roller coaster tycoon soaket. I have a lot of tycoon games so this gam has 2 tycoon game it has 2 times the fun so get it now p.s. if you want to no more make a coment

What does this include? Because I want to buy RCT3 and all of the expansions that are out so far but does this include expansions or something? im just confused about what it is.

I had played the game before so i knew what i was getting so i was happy. the only thing i was dissapointed about was the shippin for some reason it took 10 days for this game to go from philly to chicago i know they said it would take 7 to 10 days but i really didn't think it would take that long but now i know and a word to others when they say 7 to 10 days they mean it no matter where its shippin.

RCT1 still the best

I love my new RCT3, but....... RCT1 still rules.

I like being able to ride the coasters, but it gets old quick. I guess it will be better once I start designing my own, but I have been just playing the games for now.

Lots of new extras and such too........ I guess the more I play the more I will get use to it, but for now Its 4 stars....
