Play with no expectations...

Don't expect this to be as good as half-life. However, expect it to be good in its' own way. Nice character models, and a true home-made feel. This was,after all, an add-on submitted by amateurs and submitted to Valve for consideration. Valve recieved hundreds of add-on packs weekly by amateurs and the only one accepted for retail release was this one. A little short, but still a nice and unique feeling universe. Textures are similar to half-life before the update patch. Voice acting borders on good. Creativity is a 4 out of 5 in my book! Nice plot with some real twists. Your stuck on a planet that goes completely haywire and starts spewing deformed creatures at you and your group of fellow space-travellers. Nice openning to a good game with some minor lags mid-way through. However, in the tradition of Half-Life, it picks up steam with a nice scenery and action change and a reasonably good ending sequence. Very enjoyable, even now. As long as you're not used to the eye candy that is UNREAL 2 or GRAND THEFT AUTO : VICE CITY.

This rocks made in the likness of half life this is more like a add on and it has good weapons models with a bunch of mods for firing lots of cool maps yes you can play online you can even get mods off the internet just like in half life for anybody who has played half life get this if you never played half life or its addons get them as well as this you will be hooked to your pc for months for anybody who likes frist person shooters get this and half life if you hav'nt already
