Wow, It's unfortunate to see people not able to get this game to run, because it is the best, most entertaining kids game my kids have played yet!

After buying and finding all the other Monsters Inc garbage (the Scream Arena, and other games so convoluted and terrible that we took all of them back), this one is pure gold. My kids play it every day, and because of the different ways to get kids to laugh in the bedroom portion, it's never the same game twice.

Stylistically, the game fits standard Freddi Fish kind of adventure gaming. Finding pieces, talking to various people, and clicking on everything to see the little animations.

Amazing stuff, i wish every kids game I bought was this good.

Had trouble starting, but worked after researching files

You will get an error when trying to load this disk...but if you open your CD drive, you will see there is a folder called "game"...just click onto that and the game will run.

I kept getting the following error on Windows 2000

"monsters1.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" when launching Disney/Pixar's Mike's Monstrous Adventure (Windows 2000)

All my drivers are the latest. Do see what the problem was and the Disney website is of no help. I may have to return the product if I dont get this working
