Okay; to start off, here is why my fun is 4; In the game, you play as Sly only (well duh!) and you only get hit one and your dead- which makes it hard to play if you have a short temper, or like to rush through games. (well, not game over quite yet!) unless you get a Silver Charm, (which happens to save you if you take a hit) you can get one once you have 100 coins. If you happen to have a Silver Charm (horseshoe..) and you get another one you get a Golden Charm! Which will protect you from two hits, this makes the game hard and challenging, but quite fun! -- You play Sly Cooper, a teen raccoon (who might have some taste for a fox.. ^_- ) who is robbed of his inherintance by a gang of theives who takes a leganary book; The Thievius Raccoonus- A book If you read it, it'll tell you how to become a master thief, he says in the beginning: " Theres no glory from stealing from regular people. If you steal from a master thief, then you know your the best. " In the game there are about only 5 boss fights, the game itself only takes up to 3 weeks or a month to finish, it depends how good you are, in this game Sly is a team of three: Himself, Bently - He is the brains - And Murray - He's the do'er. The graphics were great at the time the game came out, the cut scences impressed even Me, and my quality likings are high. The Master Theives you fight are... *WARNING! SPOLIERS BELOW!!! BEWARE!!*

Are: A frog (I think his name is Rolly)- you'll find out his name, he is pretty hard, but still easy, it's a series of Jumping and quick thinking.

A Bully Dog(I think his name is Runt)- He is all strength- no brains, he'll look extremely tough and scary to you, but- if you can out think him, it'll be easy! So don't be fool it just takes a few tries!

A crocodile- She is fun, it is a series of thinking quickly and being fast- I don't remember much but I think you try to copy her moves, it's one of the funnest bosses so don't be scared!!

Panada King- Panada King is EXTREMELY EASY!! DO NOT BE FOOLED! His tatics are easy to counter, just be smart and fast and you can easily block his moves, it might be alittle hard, but I doubt it. XDD (PS. It's either him or the Crocodile, I forget. =/ )

*BIG SPOILER BELOW!!! LEAVE NOW IS YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE IT! THIS IS A WARNING!!!*

Clockwork- An Owl- He is the final battle- He is not easy! This is a long battle, and if you have a short temper don't play to this battle! It takes patience and skill! You fly on a jet pack and shoot him in body parts- So be warned! - You will notice him is in all the pictures as Shadowy-Figure, so look out for that!

The game overall is GREAT! Some will put their nose up at it, some will try it and love it! Sly is a great game for kids! And not only kids! Everyone! Just try it, then get the second one, it is even better as you can play as Bently and Murray- And you have a health bar this time!- DO NOT SKIP GAMES! It ruins the story line and it is confusing. So don't try it. Same with the Third Game, this time Bently has a Twist to him, but I'm not telling, I've said enough, enjoy the game(s)!! ^_^

I rented it a couple months ago to see if it was as good as Sly 2 and 3. But after realising that you die in one hit, the plot was dumb and the graphics were bad, I thought it was a dumb and horrible game. Don't even rent it or the thief will steal you're mind and stop you from playing better games. I HATED IT TO DEATH!!!!!!!

this game is fun but i wish i had the strategy guide that prima makes for games. it would be easiser for me.

Standout Game -no room to move

This game really stood out among the others and I rented it. One problem I had was how easily Sly dies because he really can't see far in front of him. This causes him to get taken out by dogs and arrows,etc as soon as he lands on a new platform. And when he gets hit, he's out. There's no life gauge or mascot hanging around. You have no access to firepower or any real protection. I once used an invincibility code and then the hang/swing button failed to function, so I couldn't advance. I need a game where you can relax and wander, not be on constant guard for enemies attacking you before you can even step back or defend yourself. This has kept me from trying Sly 2, but I think I will now.

I spent about 10 minutes playing this game before I realized what a bad game it is. I love the cell shading, and I wish PS2 would have more games, better games that is, with art like this one. However, I found this game to be far too simplistic to be enjoyable. You don't get a health meter. AT ALL! If you touch ANYTHING you're not supposed to (for me, it was a plant) you die instantly and are sent back to the beginning. If you fall into the water you die instantly. If you die three times you start all over, like you did in old Nintendo games.
True, I didn't get past the first level so I don't know if this situation improves at all, but for a game to have that kind of set up in the first place is pointless. Hasn't gaming come far enough in the past 20 years that have rendered the concept of "how many lives I do I have left?" totally useless? My suggestion: Rent it and see for yourself.

if you do buy this crap it should be because you wanna burn it. the game is garbage. levels are slow paced and the game can beat in a mere 2 hours. get jak and daxter instead.

who needs this game. warning unless you are 10 years old do not buy this game. just pass this one by. and get jak and daxter or rachet and clank both are much better games. do yourself a favor get out of this reveiw selection and go look up those two games.

this game is stupid. it really is childish. id recomend jak 2 or rachet and clank going commando over this stupid game. the graphics arent very good. the characthers look horrible and what you can do in this game is horrible. its just a kids game and it should be overlooked. anybody whos played it and given it 5 stars is a fool. its basically just another underpar average platformer.

this game was very fun and adective, but after u play it until like the third or something like that level u get really bored, i haven't touched it since, all in all not worth it's price
