NeverWinter Nights

I actually don't play this game, I bought it for my brother. It seems to be an awesome role-playing game, I'm just not into that kind of thing. The graphics are awesome, and the music and sound is EXTREMELY high quality. I have a low-end, ''integrated'' graphics card and everything still looks great. I can only imagine what it would look like on a Radeon or Geforce. One of the highlights I saw in the game is being able to build your own levels and scenarios, as well as characters. The levels my brother was making looked incredible, with doorways, caves, skeletons, lighting, even stepping into certain areas would take you into other non-connected areas, flawlessly (like a warp zone, if you will). If you're into this kind of game, I would highly recommend it.

This is a good game

The additional scenarios are very interesting and the game can really keep you involved.

I never guessed I'd be playing D&D on the PC!

After being a die-hard 'pencil & dice' D&D player/DM since first edition rules, I didn't think I'd ever find a game that would emulate the D&D experience to me with all the possibilities of a game that you and your friends created in your own minds. Then along came 'Neverwinter'! It has revolutionised my gaming experience, the pencil & dice have been put in mothballs for the time being. NWN is the best. Well done bioware!

great D&D based RPG

Neverwinter nights platinum is a great RPG for those who have either played D&D (dungeons and dragons) or for those who have a taste for story and character development. you play as a hero or villian of a selected class, race and alignment. all of these options have impact on character development, storyline, and the ability to interact with NPCs. The sound FX and music is very good with people shouting in the background, screams in the dungeons, and outstanding dialogue. You can manipulate the camera by zooming in and out very far or close and adjust the angle at which you view your character. combat is not a strong factor for this game but is exciting. you can move your character by clicking the mouse or "driving" the character with car like controls. graphics are also a plus. colorful, detailed, and full of NPCs. i highly recommend this to any fan of D&D or to any avid RPG fan

Old school fun

I am an old school game addict. I like a story and playability and this game has both. I am anxious about the new release, because it will be hard to top this one. With the expansion packs that are included there is hundreds of hours of game play and a multitude of character classes and special classes. If you haven't played this one don't miss out on the cheap price. It is the most bang for your buck in the marketplace.

This is a lost classic game for your PC. I think the description is right- the amount of challenges throughout the game is amazing. You will not get bored with this game any time soon. The graphics hold up extremely well, and I have to agree with the reviewer who says that technology is advancing TOO fast and this is making it difficult to appreciate a game before the next big thing comes out. Probably nobody remembers this game and that's a shame. Well, that's how it goes.

I Love This Game!

This game plays well with all bugs ironed out by now. It is addictive, graphically beautiful, intensely charming, full of action, infinitely replayable (I should know, I have spent at least an hour a day playing since March 2002; this purchase was to give to my sister) with great variety in character creation. It is more charming and beautiful than NWN2. NWN2 begins to bother me as it fights you when you want to play a good character, and entices the undecided to play evil characters more than the original NWN. That's why I chose to get my sister interested in NWN Platinum.
Note, I am a 'recovered' Casino fan!

It's an older game, kinda dated graphics, but I have an older computer and it took me two months to beat the first main game, I'm working on Shadows of Undrentide, and I'm almost thru that, didn't take nearly as long. Over all it's addictive and a good value if you've got an older computer or just looking for a classic.

This is the -it- game, a wondrful game with possebilities.
This pack got the first Neverwinter, and two expension packs: -hordes of the underdark- and -shadows of the undrentide-
personly I loved the -Hordes of the Underdark- a great game filled with surprises and fun, incredible.
The other expension pack Shadow of the undrentide is not that exiting but still fun.

The graphic is good, and the people on the game really look like they are real and alive, breathing and all....

If you buy this game you will have alot of fun, action, love and caring, you will truly enjoy.

One of my favorites...

This is one of my favorite games, right up there with Starcraft Broodwar and Counterstrike 1.6. This and those two games are about the only video games I ever play anymore, and with good reason. They are awesome games. The campaigns are fantastic, but what is possibly my favorite is the online play with other people. This is a must-have for any D&D player or RPG lover.
