This game is fun. The story mode is hilarious. Girls look awesome. If you are a hardcore wrestling fan, you will even like this one. Controls are a little awkward but can be learn quickly and moves are very similar to SmackdownVsRAw. Entrances are great and this game looks graphically good.

Fun moves and hot CGI chicks!

Just stupid fun when you get right down to it. I love the intros and the stories. The Music is surprisingly good. The vow system can be a bit complicated, but I have not used it much being that I prefer the story mode unless playing against someone. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star game for me is the lack of a training or practice mode to better get to know the character's moves (i.e. Tekken). Other than that, it's just fun.

The girls look great, better than any other fighting game's girls. The game is sexy and fun. The controls are great, similar to the WWE Smackdown games, even if there are fewer moves. On the negative side: The game is very easy, and I suspect that it woln't have a lot of replayability.

The "Season Mode" and the CAWs of the WWE games were a big reason why those games had a lot of replayability that this game doesn't have. "Story Mode" is five or six matches. Since the game is easy, it woln't be too much trouble to breeze through all of the characters.

Similar to the WWE games, most of the characters control in similar ways, with a emphasis on timing rather than button-press sequences like Street fighter. Most of the girls control similarly: some are better at getting the opponants to submit, some do more damage and some are good at filling the new "humliation meter." But, in total, the girls don't have nearly as many varied moves as the wrestlers in a WWE game. On the other hand, the moves that the girls are able to do look stunning: over the top brutal moves, but in no way do they push the game into fantasy.

There are only two types of matches: a "ring" match and a "mud pit" match. The mud pit match has ladders, so it plays a lot differently from the ring match. There are also weapons hidden in both arena. However, weapons are hard to control. So, there just isn't a lot of variety to be found in the types of game.

Playing through the Story mode unlocks the bikinis for exhibition mode, and the alter-ego for story mode. The wrestlers look gerat in their bikinis. Achieving "face or heel points" in exhibition mode helps unlock the alter egos of the wrestlers in exhibition mode and also unlocks the gallery mode, where you can leer at the posing wresler.

The two player experience isn't great. There are a few seeming death-loop combos, which isn't forgivable in fighter games today. The game isn't as play-balanced as, say, DOA.

If you are at all interested in Rumble Roses, you must rent or buy this game. I for one am loving the concept: why the WWE games don't let you play as scantily clad women during the main 1-player mode is silly. The girls look beautiful and I'm sure that the graphics will give next-gen consoles a run on their money. The game is a ton of fun, but I'm afraid that it is short and will not offer a bunch of replayability.

Rumble Roses. Destined to be a cult classic

Ofcourse there is a stigma that this game is for perverts (the half naked anime girls help create that stigma), but it's actually a really good game. I found the wrestling to be brutal&funny, and I found the story mode to be hilarious & Corny & Creative.

For wrestling fans, I found Rumble Roses to have the best submission system for any wrestling game I have seen to date. I also like the heel/face system of the game. The heel/face system of the game lets you choose whether your wrestler will be good or evil. The good and evil characters have different moves, story modes, and ring entrances (which adds more fun to the game).

Being an old Nintendo gamer from the 80's, this game reminds me how far video games have progressed. In my day your had to imagine what your 8 bit charaters looked like. Now, not only can you cleary see your characters face, but you also see facial expressions and a moving mouth.

Not sure why this game is rated M. It's pretty tame compared to games like Grand Theft Auto and Blood Rayne. The outfits are pretty revealing, but I don't think this game deserves an M.

I've become increasingly dissapointed with the WWE wrestling games, while the quality of their games is great the way they treat their female characters is shameful. So now i've found a wonderful alternative, the gameplay is strong, the girls are gorgeous and it is fun to play.PROS.1. The ablity to gradually switch your character from good to bad and viceversa creating different personas.2. great graphics3. great gameplay Cons.1.The story mode is a lot of fun but after each match there should be a save point, for those of us who dont have the time to sit for an hour, I dont want to HAVE to skip the story because im pressed for time.2. No tag team action?? get out!3. To execute a reversal depends more on luck than skill.Overall RR is an excelent alternative to testorone fueled wrestling games, plenty of eye candy and fun to play. A WEEKEND RENTAL IS MORE THAN ENOUGH

I only hope this review is written quickly enough so people do not waste money on this game.

I'm a hardcore fan of wrestling games, but I cannot recommend Rumble Roses for any reason at all. I'll describe every aspect of the game so that after reading this review, you will know exactly what the game is like--guaranteed.

This wrestling game is co-developed by the same guys who made the WWE Smackdown! series. Rumble roses does have some decent gameplay, but it is extremely limited and you can easily plow through the majority of the game in a weekend's rental.

The gameplay is like that of the Smackdown series--only much less wrestling moves to do. Each female wrestler in this game has like 25 moves MAX, compared to at least 70 moves per character in the Smackdown series. And of those 25 moves per character, about 6 of them are shared by at least 2 other girl wrestlers, making each character similar to one another. Again, of those 25 moves, 6 are ground attacks. Get the message now? There's simply not enough moves to make a girl stand out from the crowd. Pick one character, and they're pretty much all alike.

There are only 2 game modes and 4 wrestling arenas. The 2 game modes are: 1-on-1 and Mud Match. The mud match plays exactly like the 1 on 1 match, except there is no wrestling ring. You'd think that fighting in the mud makes your character move more slowly, right? Wrong. The mud in this game doesn't affect your character one bit. The mud can only go on your girl's skin for 9 seconds after completely rubbing off. The mud match was obviously tossed in the game to attract buyers. Let me explain: When you slam your opponent, her face is completely submeged in the mud. How does she breathe? Same goes with pinning your opponent--her face is completely submerged. It's as if the developers forgot all about the mud and its physics.

There's 4 wrestling arenas: 3 for 1 on 1 match, 1 for mud. Also, those 3 arenas look very identical, making each arena pretty much the same. There's only 1 mud arena.

Now, onto the girls. About them, they're not as sexy as you think--you can make WAYYYY sexier characters in the far superior Smakdown games. Serously! The girls here do not look too sexy and unfortunately, sexy girls was supposed to be part of this game. Each girl has her own entrance music, which is decent.

Next is the game's story mode. It's like you're playing a book--you win the match to move on. If you lose, you get unlimited continues to fight again. Losing doesn't affect the story at all, so don't worry. No branching story lines at all. It's all set, which is horrible.

I cannot recommend this game for its $40 MSRP. Lower it down to 15 bucks, and I'll think about it. Unfortunately, I paid 35 bucks for mine, which I regret. If you have 50 dollars, buy the very much superior WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw game. Rumble Roses has around 15% of what WWE SD V R has to offer. So why is it 40 dollars? Should be 15! Smackdown has online play, Rumble roses does not.

Pros:
1) Nice graphics
2) Good control
3) Great intro movie
4) Decent voice acting

Cons:
1) ONLY 1 on 1 fighting--no more than 2 people in the match
2) Almost NONE mud physics
3) Laughable story line
4) Very simplistic gameplay
5) Almost NO SECRETS worth unlocking
6) Story mode is extremely short--finish a story in 45 mins.
7) OVERPRICED at $40 MSRP
8) No tables, chairs, ladders, etc.
9) Not online
10) Girls not sexy enough (You can make much sexier girls in Smackdown's create mode)
11) Many moves shared by a lot of wrestlers
12) Most moves' animations are recycled from the Smackdown! series
13) Cannot configure controls
14) Cannot configure match options (we cannot turn off submissions, pins, etc.)
15) Huge collision dection problems (you know something's wrong when you grapple your opponent, and your hands go right through them, and you miss your grapple entirely)

There's at least 10 more problems with this game (not a joke). Forget about listing them all--you get the idea.

Final verdict:

You can see EVERYTHING the game has to offer in a 5-day rental (or even less for fast players). I guaranteed that to you.

Hot chicks mud wrestling what more do you want?

Good ol' Shakespeare said it best: "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." Such is the case with Rumble Roses, the latest game to meet our hedonistic desire for scantily clad buxom women fighting it out in the ring. The title for a game like this could be Aunt Jemima's Pancake Makin' Party and it would still draw crowds. But besides the requisite tight or nonexistent clothing, and well-proportioned models, does the game deliver the goods? The answer really depends on what you're looking for from the game. Engaging story? No way. Exciting gameplay? Not quite. Easy to play? To a degree. Plenty of opportunities to stare at half-naked women? Absolutely. It's clear the objective was an easy-to-approach fighting game that rewarded players with well-angled shots of these women's finer attributes, and to Konami's credit, it did exactly that. The graphics, one of the game's strong points, are well done.
All of the characters--some 24 if you count the starting cast's alter egos--are well designed and have unique looks. But besides the good looking character models, the fighting stages are relatively uninspiring, with sparse variety, varying from a handful of rings that look strikingly similar and a single beachside mud-wrestling pit. The controls, like the graphics, are also a mixed bag. On the one hand, they're pretty easy to pick up in the course of a single sitting--single buttons correspond to single actions (attack, block, grapple, pin, etc.) while the analog stick or directional pad dictates the kind of attack or grapple. Unfortunately, while the controls are simple enough for even the most casual gamer, the limited number of moves provided creates for some repetitive gameplay. Still, the signature killer and humiliation moves, coupled with the laughable dialogue and voiceovers, do provide some entertainment. So while Konami succeeded at building a simple but graphically enticing fighter, it failed to create anything but an average game with a penchant for g-strings and larger than usual cup-sizes.

One of the best out there!!

Ok first off. What is up with these people who write a review for a game that they have NEVER played and say its good or bad..Play the game first then give me your opinion.Ok Now for the game..This is one of the best wrestling games around today.the girls are sexy, the contols are pretty good..the graphics are great the music is cool...the girls are for the most part realistic..The story mode is way to short it could have been longer..and to have a champion playable in story mode would have been better to but maybe next time..the costume chages are good..overall it is a great game very enjoyable and replay value is good...I give it 4 out of 5 stars only because of the short story mode...

Sexiest Game Ever

Without a doubt the sexiest game ever. With 10 of the most beautiful girls youve ever seen, not to mention their alter egos, this game gives you what you want. I hear alot of bad reviews about the gameplay but that was not what Konami was trying to perfect in this game. Konami Is smarter then you people have come to believe. They know what men want and as sellers SEX SELLS PERIOD. THANK YOU KONAMI!
