I've tried the WWE wrestling games and I didn't like them. I don't really like button masher/combo memorizing games like Tekken, Virtua Fighter & Soul Callibur. I would actually compare to this game to the Def Jam series as far as fighting styles and animations. Some of the girls actually pull off realistic looking armbars, kneebars and other submission moves (And I'm actually making this comparison to REAL MMA - If you don't know what that is then it's not worth knowing). Point is that for anyone who knows anything about real fighting and submissions, this game is actually better than most other fighters out there. Yeah, it's not a very deep game, but who cares? How could you ever get tired of really hot girls pulling off cool wrestling/fighting moves. But I guess if you're offended by CGI images of hot girls then maybe this game is not for you. (And that's YOUR loss)

Without a doubt the sexiest game ever. With 10 of the most beautiful girls youve ever seen, not to mention their alter egos, this game gives you what you want. I hear alot of bad reviews about the gameplay but that was not what Konami was trying to perfect in this game. Konami Is smarter then you people have come to believe. They know what men want and as sellers SEX SELLS PERIOD. THANK YOU KONAMI!

This game is fun. The story mode is hilarious. Girls look awesome. If you are a hardcore wrestling fan, you will even like this one. Controls are a little awkward but can be learn quickly and moves are very similar to SmackdownVsRAw. Entrances are great and this game looks graphically good.
pretty good

this game is overall good. it has good graphics, sound and plays good. the voice overs could use a little work. you can do humilliation moves, leathal moves and killer moves. i don't normally get wrestling games since normally it's just a minor improvement form the last WWE title but if u want a different change of pace, get this one.
My last wrestling game was WWF Royal Rumble (Arcade port)

I usually do not buy wrestling games. The only other one I own is the above mentioned arcade port for Dreamcast. I decided to purchase Rumble Roses because it offers a new view of wrestling.
I am very happy that I bought it. This game is Solid Gold ! It has jaw-dropping fantastic graphics. And the gameplay can be very challenging, depending on which difficulty you set it on.
I enjoyed this game a whole lot more than Tekken 4. I got both games when I purchase the slim PS2.
I am very amazed by how far graphics have come in gaming. As another reviewer mentioned, many of us still remember characters such as Star-Man from the 8-bit Nintendo system. How things have changed in such a short period of time!!!!!!!!!!!

I've become increasingly dissapointed with the WWE wrestling games, while the quality of their games is great the way they treat their female characters is shameful. So now i've found a wonderful alternative, the gameplay is strong, the girls are gorgeous and it is fun to play.PROS.1. The ablity to gradually switch your character from good to bad and viceversa creating different personas.2. great graphics3. great gameplay Cons.1.The story mode is a lot of fun but after each match there should be a save point, for those of us who dont have the time to sit for an hour, I dont want to HAVE to skip the story because im pressed for time.2. No tag team action?? get out!3. To execute a reversal depends more on luck than skill.Overall RR is an excelent alternative to testorone fueled wrestling games, plenty of eye candy and fun to play. Good ol' Shakespeare said it best: "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." Such is the case with Rumble Roses, the latest game to meet our hedonistic desire for scantily clad buxom women fighting it out in the ring. The title for a game like this could be Aunt Jemima's Pancake Makin' Party and it would still draw crowds. But besides the requisite tight or nonexistent clothing, and well-proportioned models, does the game deliver the goods? The answer really depends on what you're looking for from the game. Engaging story? No way. Exciting gameplay? Not quite. Easy to play? To a degree. Plenty of opportunities to stare at half-naked women? Absolutely. It's clear the objective was an easy-to-approach fighting game that rewarded players with well-angled shots of these women's finer attributes, and to Konami's credit, it did exactly that. The graphics, one of the game's strong points, are well done.
All of the characters--some 24 if you count the starting cast's alter egos--are well designed and have unique looks. But besides the good looking character models, the fighting stages are relatively uninspiring, with sparse variety, varying from a handful of rings that look strikingly similar and a single beachside mud-wrestling pit. The controls, like the graphics, are also a mixed bag. On the one hand, they're pretty easy to pick up in the course of a single sitting--single buttons correspond to single actions (attack, block, grapple, pin, etc.) while the analog stick or directional pad dictates the kind of attack or grapple. Unfortunately, while the controls are simple enough for even the most casual gamer, the limited number of moves provided creates for some repetitive gameplay. Still, the signature killer and humiliation moves, coupled with the laughable dialogue and voiceovers, do provide some entertainment. So while Konami succeeded at building a simple but graphically enticing fighter, it failed to create anything but an average game with a penchant for g-strings and larger than usual cup-sizes.
This game has its quirks but ends to quickly

It was rushed and didnt have many features, the mud match looked like a chocolate milk kind of mud and the choice of costumes really sucked. I liked this alittle, I liked Candy Cane and Judgement mostly. I must say that its sequel sounds better but I heard it has lousy controls and it does seem look like Tekken with the Panda character. I just cant believe that Rumble Roses XX has more features and more costumes. Well this game is alright, I admit I had fun playing this simple game. Just wish they had skimpier costumes for each girl. Another reason to like this game should be the regular matches since you can choose the beach or inside to wrestle. From Reiko to Lady X, this game would be really fun if Lady X wasnt a robot.
The Truth about Rumble Roses...

Well lets see here... I waited long enough to write a review about Rumble Roses so... I guess here goes. Let me first say that I picked this game up for the same reason I'm sure every guy picked this game up... and we all know what that was.
I know that the XBox 360 version of this game, Rumble Roses XX, is better than the PSX2 version... simply a more up-to-date game and system. However if you wanna talk about sound and graphics for a game on PSX2, than this game is for you. I liked the all original music made for this game and felt it fit in very well.
Of course this game is nothing more than mindless T'n A and thats it period... no one truly baught it for the moves... the grappling system... or whatever. Not to trash it, alot of the moves play out and look like they just came out of a SvR game. Fetishes galore is correct as this game is all about hot'n sexy females wrestling in a very oriental manner.
I'd say if your into this kind of thing, get it, if not, pass it up. Let me also remind you that any real self respecting female is going to find this game offensive... my girlfriend was not to fond of the game when I played, thus I play it when she is not around or when Im with friends... all about respect... and the fact that I don't want to sleep on the couch.
I gave it a 4 for fun because it really is a perverted-bash! The 3 is because I felt they could have placed more features and what-not in the game. As I understand they did with the XBox 360 version, anyways if you have an XBox, I'd recommend getting it for that.
What is so great about this game

I played this game before and this is like a joke. I don't no what was so great about this game but their's only three stage's some decent character's and i gotten to a point that their's nothing really good about this game. When i was playing storymode it was okay but the gameplay is to easy, their's only like 2speacial attack's and the rest is like any other wresling game. This game was not good just a girl's only fighting game.
