A beautiful game

As a mother I am I always trying to be aware of games that offer the excitement of a good action film for my children. I don't want to deny them, but many times lots of games seem to be all violence, with no story.

Project: Snowblind offers a wonderful sci-fi story and for an old Phillip K. Dick fan like myself that is wonderful and can offer my boys an action packed game with subdued violence. It also very lovely to see the detailed Hong Kong streets, it's almost like visiting there.

Project Snowblind is a special game. One of a kind that seemingly comes along every few years. It's, perhaps, a bit under the radar--- but that is probably the only fault you could find after sitting down with the game.

From the very start of the game, you're grabbed. As Nathan Frost, your team is ambushed by hostile forces in futuristic Hong Kong. It's not long after that Nathan is the victim of a near death situation. With no other alternative, the Armed Forces save Nathan's life by equiping him with bio-augmentations that make him above and beyond that of a normal human being.

With the bio-augmentations, you're allowed to view heat signatures, slow down time, have a shield to protect from enemy fire, and other enhancements.

The gameplay is fun and exciting, yet welcoming enough that even a novice in First Person Shooters can pick the game up and want to continue playing for hours on end.

The multiplayer modes are even more exciting as tons of features are offered in this mode for up to *16* players. You can also use a LAN feature for those of you interested.

Project Snowblind is a can't miss game for fans of any genre!

I really like this game. I got the game for my birthday and I've been playing it since!

The game has tons of different enemies like robots and tanks and helicopters. There are also cars and stuff for you to drive around in!

My dad won't let me play online, but my friend say it's really fun!

I hope everyone else likes this game too!

AWESOME!

First off i wanna say wat is the deal with Halo 2? Why does everyone love it so much? its good but not over the top amzing like GTA! This game offers wat Halo 2 did and more. There's vehicles and tons of cool weapons, but the best part is your bio-augmentations, they give power-ups like invisibility, ballistic-shielding, slow-motion, night/heat vision, and electrical storm. You can also hack into computers and shut down security. It's also very challenging in a good way. It's fun and easy to pick up and play. However if you dont have an online connection rent it, cause single players fun but short. Online play is definately awesome and addictive, but we need more people to play. BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!

Just finished playing Project Snowblind and I have to say it was incredibly intense from the moment I picked it up, all the way through to the dramatic conclusion.

I've played Halo2, and i really think this one stacks up well against that, and really kills any of the other FPS games on the Playstation. The single player game is very solid and the multiplayer can't be put down.

Love it!

Cool

Project: Snowblind is a first person shooter set sometime in the future during an uprising in Hong Kong that mushrooms into a global threat. You are sent in with your squad in order to quell the uprising, but somewhere along the lines, you are injured in battle and deemed an acceptable candidate for nanosurgery and bioaugmentation. That all happens in the first 15 minutes.
After you "wake up" things get really interesting. As a member of the elite, nanoenhanced, you have abilities that go far beyond the normal soldier. You have powers that allow you to shield yourself and reduced the damage dealt from enemy fire. You can slow down time, see heat signatures through walls, cloak and other things to help you on your quest.
The great thing about this game is that it enables the player to play with a great deal of freedom. The ammo is plentiful and the health packs are spaced at appropriate intervals. Do you feel like going in silently and picking off the soldiers one by one, or do you feel like jumping into the middle of battle and laying waste to an entire regiment of enemy soldiers? The choice is yours.
You can also drive vehicles, hijack gun turrets, shut down security cameras, and even overload and control mechs in order to destroy the competition. This game has a good supply of weapons that range from a standard silenced pistol to an electronic device called an "icepick" used to take over robotic adversaries. Included as well are the shotguns, rocketlauncers, fletchette guns, mine launchers and grenades that one would come to expect in a game of this class. Variety is truly the spice of life, and that is what makes this game fun.
Graphically speaking, the environments are well detailed and gorgeous to look at, many of them have alternate paths and side buildings, rooms, and alleys to explore. The framerate clips along pretty smoothly and I haven't noticed any slowdown or glitches with this system. The A.I. is good and offers a solid challenge, but not so terrible that it overwhelmes you completely.
The controls are fluid and easy to master, intuitivley placed buttons and a well mapped out control scheme add to this a great deal. So why only four stars you ask? For one, I wish that this game were a bit longer, and at times a bit more challenging. Inclusion of online modes is a good idea, but I dont play games online so I honestly cannot rate this feature. Overall, Project: Snowblind is a solid entry in the FPS genre that offers enough variety to be complex but not overwhelming, thus making it ideal to fans of the genre and newbies alike.
Give it a shot, I think you will agree that it is a cool game with a large amount of variety and something for everyone.

I really don't recomend buying this game. I recomend renting it. Games are expensive and if its not great i dont suggest buying it. Or if it doesnt have high replay value or if it isnt a classic. Like mgs3, i gave it a four but still would recomned buying it cuz its a classic, has a great story, and ill definitly replay it. This on the other hand is an enoyable sit through. Its like a one night stand. You do it, you forget about it, thats all. Your never gonna see the her again(unless shes like a friend u did). This is what this game is, a good ride for the night.

This game is awesome! It has a great story, great action, really cool weapons, and great bio-augmentations (special powers). The only downsides are the length of the game and the health system. The levels are really detailed and fully destructible. And the outcome of the missions is up to you. For example you can take out a mech and then stealthely pick of all the enemies in the area. OR you can use a tool called the ice pick to control the mech and go rampaging around vaporizing all the enemies. I actually reccomend renting it first to see if you want to buy it. It is a really, really cool game.

Great game, incredible price!

Project: Snowblind is a first person shooter set in the year 2065. Hong Kong is in civil war and the U.S. is involved with it somehow. You play as Lt. Nathan Frost and are sent into Hong Kong with the rest of your squad. In the beginning you are trying to hold off a certain area. When you succeed, you go out and save a soldier who's been shot. But an Electric bomb is targeted on you and hurts you. You survive but the Army rebuilds you with a computer. You turn out to be like a cyborg and have special robot powers.

This game has such cool weapons. There are machine guns, rocket launchers, pistols, carbines, shotguns, everything. You even have a hacker gun. You can shoot the hacker gun at an enemy robot or camera gun and control it. There are dosens of granades- electro granades, spider granades, and even some that provide a shield for you.
Every weapon includes a "secondary fire". Example: the carbine has an automatic primary fire but the secondary fire is its granade launcher

Everything is futuristic from the helicopters that surround you, to the buildings, to the guns you shoot. The entire game is a totally fresh, new experience! You can interact with almost anything.

In this game you have special powers that you obtain when you progress in the game. They become very useful and are a lot of fun to use. There are shield devices and cloking devices. You can even slow down time for a short period.

In some places in the game you will be able to drive cars. You can use them against the enemy and to get to different places. There are also trucks with machine guns on top of them.

Lastly I just want to say that this is the best game for under 20 bucks. Better than Halo 1 and better that Halo 2. Everyone who owns a PS2 should have a copy of this game.

Where'd this game come from? I don't remember any advertisements on this at all, and I'm not sure why. This is one of the best shooter games I've ever played. And you can't beat the cost - under $20.

You get a ton of weapons and useful augmentations to help you get through the tough spots. The controls are relatively easy to learn; the L2 button (pause to change primary, secondary weapon or aug) quickly became my best friend. The only thing I didn't like about the game is the inability to carry med kits. You automatically pick up the small ones and have a choice of picking up the large ones. This means having to remember and backtrack to pick up a large med kit if you didn't want to do so earlier while you were already at two-thirds health. Also, you have the ability to revive yourself by hitting the L1 button if you do so before blacking out. This takes the thrill of trying to stay alive. I'd rather die and have to restart over again.

I still give this 3 stars. You can't find a better game for this price.
