Don't waste your money on this game. I bought it based solely on how it looked on the tv commercials. The game only took me three days to beat and it seemed like it was out of the blue. I had no idea I was near the end. Besides that the plot was horrible. The fighting was ok but "The One Ring" played absolutely no role in the entire game; I never had to use it once. I might have enjoyed the game a little more if it hadn't been so terribly short. Save your money unless you want to buy it from me. (joke)

THIS GAME LOCKS UP--ALWAYS!! I HAVE TRIED TO GET HELP TO MAKE IT PLAY CORRECTLY BUT NO ONE SEEMED INTERESTED IN HELPING ME! IT MIGHT BE A GOOD GAME IF IT WORKED BUT IT DOES NOT!!

I have been keeping up with this game as it has been developed and all I can say that if you want to make a Lotr game you better put a better effort into it than You need mushroom Frodo.
They should have made this a true RPG instead its linear in plot. The graphics seem ok but from what I hear the controls are sloppy on the PC. All I can say is good try but you lose.Long live JRRT

This game took me 2 days to beat. It is very short. It is completely linear. And its buggy, crashed my system a few times and I have a high end system, only 3 months old.

It was entertaining for those few short hours but it certainly wasnt worth [the money]

Hey, we all have to admit the movie was at least kind of good. So,with this game following the book's storyline even more, it has to be better. I mean, come on, yo can play as Frodo, ARAGORN (in all caps because he is tied for coolest with Legolas), or Gandalf. This has to be tight. With Gandalf you could cast spells while slashing up orcs with Glamdring (his sword). With Frodo you should have the option of putting on the Ring and becoming Almighty in power. Then you can use Sting to chop up people and orcs and stuff. CHOP CHOP CHOP! Did I scare you? I'm sorry. Anyway, with Aragorn you should (you notice I put SHOULD instead of CAN.)be able to have the option of using the re-forged sword Narsil or use a bow and arrow like in Moria in the movie. You should battle orcs, Uruk-Hai (stronger orcs), the cave troll, the Balrog, the Black Riders, and have the option of chopping up the rest of the Fellowship. Ha ha ha. That would be funny. I can just imagine Sam saying, "What do we do now?" in Bree then I use Sting (even though Frodo does not have Sting at Bree) to chop his head off. Ooo, how that would be funny. Anyway, this should be a very good game since it's follwing the book even more than the movie and you get the coolest(tied) person to play, and you get to see Tom Bombadil who wasn't in the movie. I wonder what he's going to look like. This is going to be an awesome game for the PC.

Even though Lord of the Rings will be an awesome game, once you beat it, there will be nothing more to do. It seems like one of those games with absoultely no replay value..... One way to fix taht would be to support online gaming, however this game does not do so.... therefore its one of thsoe games taht u beat in about 2-3 weeks... and then it gets to collect dust on ur shelf.... anyway, it still looks like an awesome game, for the amount of time it will last!

You get to choose between Legolas, Gimli, and aragon. The Graphice are really good and my friends bro worked on ths game so i got a preview of it, it was soooooo cool!
