CENSORED

The executions, 90% of what made the original great, are completely censored. They put a heavy red and blue blur over the screen whenever you perform an execution and move the camera repeatedly. The end result is you can only see the outline of your character and victim, and not what he's doing. This game is pointless now. Thanks a lot to the ESRB, censorship advocates, and gutless retailers who won't sell AO rated games for making sure this 31 year old couldn't play a gory video game. You've saved the world, and cheated me out of $30. This is the worst gutting of a game since the original Mortal Kombat on the SNES where there were no fatalities. BTW, the graphics are awful by modern standards. Not even worth a rental.

What a waste of time! I have been waiting for the release of this game with anticipation since I finished the first one. Man what a peice of crap. Rockstar should just close shop if this is what we can expect from them for now on. I mean whats the point. The whole reason people loved the first game, lets be honest, was the gore and violent killings. I expected not only the same, but better in the 2nd one. Rockstar, you guys are sellouts and the biggest cowards in the biz. If your not going to stand up for yourselves and your true fans and consumers, then sell your company to disney or something. Pathetic game, and a waste of my money. Thanks for nothing Rockstar.

I'm not to far into this game yet, but I just had to voice my opinion. The censors practically ruin the game, but that's not all. When compared to the first Manhunt, this is boring and the graphics seem like they're from 1985. I can only hope that maybe someday, after sales drop for this game, they will release the AO version. That way, all the moaners and complainers will have zipped it, and we all can play the game the way it was meant to.

This is not near as good as first. The audio is really bad, graphics horrible, and controls suck. After playing this crappy game, I just wanted to play the original. This game sucks! I didn't even finish it. It does not live up to the first one in any way. It seems like it was just thrown together using the prestige of the original for sell. I don't like this game at all. However, it does have good ideas...just not developed enough. I love the first game!!!!!!!!! I was really looking forward to this one...but..man..it's really poor. No replay value at all! What a waste of time and cash.

we live in a world full of violence( terrorist beheading people, bombings , schools' shootings, serial killers, home invasion ect ect..) why amazon would even sell something so evil...so lets give the bad guys more ideas??? or because makes big sales , ok lets make all the bad legal!!please amazon do not giving in because of profit,

where can i begin? first, the graphics are bad, somewhere between Nintendo 64 and Dreamcast, this game reminds me of the Max Payne and Punisher games, but not near as good. I think Rockstar rushed this game out too quickly for the Ps2, knowing the Ps3 was coming. the game pushes the point that it's over the top bloody and gruesome, which it is, but it's nothing new, actaully i've seen worse in video games (ex. Shadow of Rome) trys too sell sex as well, the game I bought, the disc locks up, and I have too restart the Playstation, I've had to do this a few times, I don't know if it's just mine or it's a problem with the game, the story is not so good, its been done a hundred times and they did a poor job, it's not terrible, but it's not good, the controlls are a problem also, they're glumsy and akward, I'm half way thru the game and have no desire too finish it, If you like the slaughter and the carnage , buy Shadow of Rome ,if like first person shooters, look around, you can do alot better with your $30-$40.

I bought and played the 1st Manhunt game---LOVED it!!! (yeah I'm a little twisted). The overall quality was awesome and the character dialog cracked me the hell up!!!! This game is very disappointing. I got bored with it almost immediately and I'm haveing a hard time playing it again. Hate to say it but I think I wasted my hard earned $$$$!!!!

Hitman is better

I bought this game for my fiance for Christmas because we love playing Hitman. The graphics are disappointing and there is a special effect that fuzzes out the screen with kind of a scratching sound...very distracting. I would recommend the Hitman Trilogy over this game. Don't buy it.

This Game is Disturbing and Sadistic

This game is so disturbing and depressing that it makes the movie darkman look cheerful by comparison!
This game is very violent and it makes Mark of Kri look like an T-rated game by comparison.
Don't get me wrong I like violent video games I just can't stomach graphic or very realistic depictions of violence. This game is more disturbing than any horror movie I've seen lately(13 Ghosts).

If I wanted to be depressed or disturbed I'll watch the news!
This game is not for sensitive people or those who are squeamish!
Only buy this game if you enjoy a blood and gory fest!
Parents don't get game for your kids or teens this game is rated M for a reason!

Censorship and poor story choice

1. Executions are censored. The gaming industry took precedant over the First Amendment and caused RockSt*r games to chicken out and create kiddie executions. Manhunt 1 is now MUCH more violent than Manhunt 2.

2. The first game told the story of a man being constantly watched, forced to murder to become free, and eventually getting revenge. The second game tells the story of a man who gets freedom but goes looking for why he was experimented on. You don't get the feel of fear, since your character could leave at any time and be safe. Bleh.

ROCKST*R! RELEASE THE ADULT VERSION. That's the only way to save this game.
