great game

this is a great game and i'd like to say the the ps2 is more superior than x box or gamecube and this is a good game.
the a.i isn't that good but hopefully they will fix that in killzone 2 the sound is great and i'd like atleast one veichle,to me it doesnt matter if they would put a veichle in but i'd like one

Killzone is the best first player shotter game ive played in years, and you can be sure of it, ive played a lot of em, it totally rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if your ps2 is online enabled this game is well worth $40.00.the campaign is fun but there is a lack of weapons to choose from and you can only carry 2. but online its like 007 on steroids and is freakin sweeeeet!

this game is fun to me but theres some really annoing this about the game. well when i was playing i would be at points were i need help from people but they would do nothing but get in the way and this game has some really bad glitches. like in the game i was go to a person and i sall his face missing and then it got better and the building would be gone missing. also in that game u have to hide alot of u will die because they will out run u and u would just of ur people doing nothing the only there good at is being a target.and another. also people were saying it was going to be a halo thing but when i played i thought that it was not really what people said witch made me mad cause i wanted a halo thing for ps2. this game is fun but u just have to mutch stuff that is bad about it. they should of worked with them problem before they put it out

It is so sorry.The graphics are horrible.This isnt even 10,000 miles away from being a "halo killer."If you want a real fps get halo 2.It has awsume graphics and smooth gameplay.Or doom 3 it looks good.Anything but ps2 games!!!!!!!!!

this game was touted to be the Halo killer. unfortunatly it does fall a bit short. what made Halo so much fun is the fact you could link a bunch of Xbox's together and do a LAN thing. on weekends we do 4 player fun at a friends house. the most Killzone has is 2 players. not a huge fan of that. back to the game. the control is good. not as good as the control in Halo. also the sniper rifle really is bad. hard to control the crosshares. good quality of graphics through the scope though. the gameplay is more advaced than Halo. you just cant go guns blazing. in many instances you need to employe stealth to be successful. it took me a while to get that. you need to take advantage of cover when possible. i am currently playing it on easy and it is harder than Halo on the normal setting. it is quite graphic. there is coarse laguage. it gives an authentic war feel. the dialouge from characters can be repetitive. the selection of guns is good. everything from assault rifles to grenade launchers. many of the weapons have a scope feature so you can zoom in. that is useful becasue many times the enemy can see you but you cant see them. the AI in the game is not that great. the maneuvers that the computer does seems to be repetitive. i have not had the chance to go online to play. would like to do that at some point to play against other people. the battlefield scenarios in the multiplayer offline suck. you play against bots and half the time the levels are so big you never see them. all in all not a bad game but they dont beat Halo. maybe next time Sony. it may have beaten Halo but its not even close to Halo 2.

I like this game. I want to say this first before critizing it. Of course it didn't live up to the hype that was generated but it's a decent game. Most of what I do like has to do with the multiplayer options and not the single player version. This game seemed less like a Halo counterpart than another installment of Red Faction. I got this game used the second day it was out. Well that should tell you something about it.

This game is not an A rated game and if you see a review where it gets a perfect score you should question it. If you look at the media that covers this game no one is giving it A's.

There are about 5 other first person shooters that have been released in the past few weeks that are far superior to this game. Buyer beware!

I don't know where to start off but this game's campaign mode was really confusing and there was no jump button. Being a fan of FPS, it was hard to adapt to this game in the beginning. The story is OK, similar to other generic FPS games. But don't expect much since the ps2's hardware was not as powerful as the xbox hardware @ this time. However, I played the Multiplayer mode online and it was really amazing especially for an old game. The game didn't lag a bit, and it was really balance with awesome weapons. If you wanted play multiplayer only, then this is a must buy. But if you're like me who wants Online Multiplayer and a Good Campaign mode, Then this might not be the game for you.

Where's the four person split screen?

Halo killer? Not so much. The games good, I'm not going to lie, but w/o 4-person multiplayer, the game is severely lacking. Also, not being able to jump, sux.
