If you've already played Guitar Hero III and just want some new songs don't bother. The graphics and sound quality are so disappointing that you'll quit half way through and go back to GHIII. There's no challenge at all. I don't even want to know what the original GH is like.

This is my favorite game of all time. My son has it for the 360 and I got so little playtime I bought it for the PS2 so I could play it. Only disappointments were the graphics as compared to the 360 (to be expected) and no downloads (also to be expected). Also have GH3 for 360 and PS3 and GH2 is much better. GH3 has been disappointing in it's sound quality on both systems and 2 different HDTVs.

Guitar Hero 2
This was a Birthday gift for my 12 yr old granddaughter. It was a huge hit! She & her 15 yr old sister have logged many hours already! A fun, active game.
ok but needs newer songs!

I bought this game for my son as a birthday present. He absolutely loves it. He has become a guitar sensation overnight. It also came very quickly.
My favorite is Still GH 1, but this game is great too

Lots of fun and a good second effort to GH 1. Some songs appear to be slightly out of sync with the note playing, but that could just be my skills :)

Guitar Hero II is a good follow-up to the original version. The music isn't as catchy but overall the game is a lot of fun and will teach a novice with no previous music or instrument experience how to handle the guitar and use his/her fingers to hit the notes. Lots of fun for kids and adults.
