After Playing the for the first two of the series, I didn't feel like the game had improved at all, it felt like I was playing the old games again and those were on PS1, granted the graphics are a little better but the physics are annoying, I know it is a lot harder to role a lamborghini than this game leads you to belive and to top it off the cops are faster than the ferrari and the lamborghini.

Exelent!

This Video game (Driv3r) wich the real name is Driver3 is REALLY FUN you can get out of your car or any other vecile boat, motor cycle, moped and much more! And when you get out you can shoot people, kill people, steel cars and more! If the cops hear or se you shoot someone they will get out of there car and shoot you or your car or smash your car and chase you (but only if you have the cops on in the menu.

This is absolutely one of the top-five best PS2 games! I've been a die-hard fan of Reflections ever since the "Destruction Derby" games for PS1. This game, while long in wait, did not dissapoint. Fun AND realistic, a balance that some games cant quite get (think "The Getaway").

My only quibble is that there is no 2 player mode like in Driver 2. This would have hands-down made this game the best videogame ever. Hopefully it will be available in the next installment...

...and I will be the first in line to get it.

This game SUCKS it's really hard to try and control the player. And the graphs look like it was meant for PS1. What the hell happened to it? It used to be good.

I have all 3 driver games I got driver 3 for my birthday and I have fun playing it. There are some pros and cons.

Pros:
1)Better than the first 2 driver games.
2)No being timed anymore for a mission

Cons:
1) Being on foot sucks. I hate having to walk sideways it is hard to go through doors and walking into things is easy to do. Other than that the game is great.
I think all should buy the game.

People these days never recognize the best games.This game is far better than vice city for many reasons.First of all the details.The suspension on trucks and such acctually work allowing you to climb rocks with the truck.Second of all the more realistic stuff.In vice city when entering water you die in this game you swim,when shooting windshields and killing some one in the car the persons head hits the steering wheel and the horn goes off.You can use almost every vehicle tere is in vice city.The best thing about this game is that it is appropriate for any age I don't have a clue why it is rated M for mature thers no blood no gore no swearing no racism no mature content other then you can shoot people and hit them in cars.ther is so much you can do this game it is just increadible.Everything in this game is like vice city only better.So if your thinkong of getting this game don't resist just buy because,this is one of the best games to roam the playstation 2 world..........If there is going to be a driver 4 i garuntee it will be better than gta san andreas

i should of listened. i would give the free ride a 2 out of 5 and the story mode a 3 1/2. its not as good as i expected. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! especially if your a kid who rarely gets money and rarely buys games. save your money and reserve a copy of grand theft auto san andreas. Never before have i ever been more anxious about a game more than grand theft auto and it has always been as good as i expected. read more about my review on grand theft auto san andreas titled i cant wait by jacob from somewhere.

(Before I write my review I would like to say that I have fully completed this game.) If I could give this game negative stars I would. This was possibly the worst game I have ever played. With this much hype for a game I was expecting a high quality, fun game, clear of any glitches but what I got instead was the exact opposite. This had the most glitches I have ever seen in a game, the on foot missions arent very fun because it is so hard to aim, the graphics are mediocre, and the A.I. is horrible. The enemies in this game are incredibly stupid. Although the driving missions are the highlight of this game, those arent very fun either due to how hard it is to manuever them in the high speed chase missions. They should have stuck with the same priniple as Driver 1. If you havent played that I would definately recommend that if you want something from the Driver franchise. Driv3r isnt even worth a rental. I wasted my time playing it and im trying to convince you not to waste yours.

I wish I read a review before I bought this game! I liked Driver 1 and 2, but then came the GTA games. I think I've been spoiled. I was really looking forward to Driv3r, but, right at the start I was annoyed with this game. Just moving Tanner around on the street or heaven forbid up a staircase is awkward. The controls are not smooth. Try aiming your gun while someone is shooting at you. You're getting blasted while your gun is all over the place. I stopped playing this after the mission where you are in a boat going to these shacks in the water and you have to take over a yacht. By the time I made it to the yacht, my health was down to nothing and as soon as you get on the ship, you get blasted by a whole bunch of enemies. I don't want to say this game is impossible, but it's no fun. I'm going to trade this in and buy GTA San Andreas. At least I know I will enjoy that game.
Another thing, for the cheat codes, you can only use invincibilty in the Take A Ride section. You can't use it in any mission! This game blows - Believe that!

really fun, but with bugs

This game is really fun. Just going on a free ride, stealing cars, shooting people, and SWIMMING. Yes, you can actually swim in this game. They better put that in GTA: San Andreas. Anyway, there are some bugs. There are clipping issues. Like, one time I was walking down the street, I ran right in front of a car. The car swerved to the right, and stopped. Now, the problem was, it stopped halfway through another vehical! The whole front of the car was through the trunk of another car. There are also some bugs when in shootouts. I swear, I have to shoot guys multiple times in the head with an M-16 kinda thing, and they just won't die. I don't know why, but they just keep running around like nothing happened. One fun thing to do is to get a motorcycle, go off a jump while in a wheelie, and jump off the bike just before it rams into a wall. This game is just a lot of fun.
