Have you ever thought of street racing? EA sports has done it again with Driver Three. Better than before it has all of the things that you could think a game could have. And more great stuff you will enjoy.
The graphics are more realistic and better graphics then before. People look just like you and me.
This game has the shortest loading time than any game. I have tested many different games and that proves it.
Free will is a option in driver 3.You can get out of your car or truck and go stealing stuff and many more.

Out of all the game I have ever had this on a challenged me the most. This game is rated m for mature because of the gore and hard graphics this game puts me in action.
This Game Is Mind Blowing

Here is a quick review of the game. Before I got this game, i was looking on the driver 3 website. When i was on the site, the game trailers looked really bad. Then, i went into the message boards, and i saw all the good replys to Ataris "Driver 3" I went out and rented the game, and let me say this. THIS GAME IS AWESOME. The sound is amazing, for example when a car blows up. You can never get as much detail on things like buildings compared to grand theft auto. Its all the little things that make a game good like graphics. When you get close to a persons face in grand theft auto (gta) it blods out. In driver 3, the details just increase instead of blodding. When a car blows up, it creates a massive debree on the streets. finally, one of my most favorite features that i cant find in grand theft auto, MEMORY. This is what i mean. Lets say you blow up a cop car, and leave it in the middle of the road. You decide to go on the other side of miami. When you go back to the same location where you were before, after walking away from it, it would still be there. Well, thats my review of driver 3. DONT EVEN BOTHER RENTING IT, YOUR GONNA LIKE IT.- (...)

Its just trying to be GTA, with none of the pizzaz of the other game. I thought the best thing was to drive around miami and see how close they got it, which unfortunetly wasnt that accurate. Being from South Florida I can see where the mistakes are... dont bother wasting your money. Just go buy San Andreas.
Have not done much with it

I picked up this game when it first came out and I guess I was expect something more. It was pretty much like the first nd second game but with new fetures like guns and slo-mo. The missions are difficult to do becuase of the funky mechanics but the driving games offer some fun times with the director mode. If your a fan of the series, you'll probably like it but otherwise, rent it first.

2 stars for optimising the game for fast loading time on the PS2(remember stuntman? took 4ever 2 load)...
Everything else is a BIG disappointment -
Firstly, GTA reference is incredibly BORING!!!!!!
Anybody can model large pretty cities and leave it empty with nothing to do in them which is what REFCUKSHTT (pronounced re-fcuk-shtt) did so no points there
The AI looked and played like the work of amateurs... terrible
The on-foot and shooting is unbelivably WRONG!!! WRONG!!! WRONG!!!
The cover art shows tanner driving and shooting AT THE SAME TIME but oh no matey, you dont get that in the actual game so insulting EVERY gamer's intelligence
The driving games never evolved, in fact they have been shrunk down, e.g. Quick Chase only gives you a maximum of 2 mins each
EVERYTHING FEELS LIKE WE WERE ALL STILL LIVING WAY BACK IN 1999 which is very disappointing bcos we've since played the GTAs and the Max Paynes and we know what good developers are quite capable of but reflections (pronounced RE-FCUK-SHTT) have decided to do the absolute minimum over all those years...
This is really SAD!!! SAD!!! SAD!!! bcos you really want to like the game especially if you've been following the series from PSOne like most people and then I heard they are working on STUNTMAN 2! Well you alrady know what you're going to get there...
Bottom line is if they had published this as is 2 years ago it would have been forgiveable, I mean, IMO, they KNOW they are wrong to release this game as is now, but they went on and did it anyway
I took mine back to the GAME store and swapped it for a 2fast 2furious DVD
Should have read the AMAZON reviews

I made the mistake of buying this game yesterday without researching enough. I thought it would be good enough to just get without checking into especially since I really liked Driver 1. I thought they were going to do a lot more this time around, but I was wrong.
I give one star for the cool driving effects, nice engine sounds and car damage. Nothing else deserves a star.
On-foot is terrible. Aiming is terrible. This game really is crappy. Very dissapointed.

i have been a hardcore fan of the driver series. i have all 3...anyway, not as fun as gta vice city. it is much harder and the controlls could have used a little work((my fav config is from ace combat 4) you dont have a roaming mode, like in gta, its just mission to mission, any you cant pick a mission like in the orig. driver. the "world" and "driveing" are much better, but no strippers, and not as much blood.
It is great!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is so good no it's excellent I can't wait for it to come out. [Some one] said Driv3r will not be good he says it should have 300+ cars, 70+ weapons Etc I definitly don't agree, belive me it might only have 8 weapons but it's going to be good!
Writen by Compact
could be better

With the hype surrounding this game, i expected it to be much better, i was dissapointed after paying £39.99.
What I do like is the cars, they look good and reminisent of real models, with slight changes, also you can take to the sea, and two wheels (and swim!), there are also weapons, and the cops shoot you aswell as damaging you car, this game is not a copy of the gta series, because driver came out while gta was still 2d, and there is not the level of violence, but i while driver is better looking, i do prefer gta vice city's gameplay. Also, I don't really like the cutscenes, but i just want to play the game so i cant comment really.
There are also a few glitches, the same problem the develpoers had on driver 2, so they could have worked that better, the game has huge cities, Miami, Nice and Istanbul, which look great and have interiors to explore and many alleys and tight streets, overal this game is good and i enjoy playing it, but it could have been much better, as i expect the Xbox version is (i have a PS2)
They need to go back to the drawing board

Like Enter the Matrix last year, Driv3r is buggy and clearly unfinished. The mess isn't as extensive as it was with Neo's nightmare -- Tanner's latest adventures as an undercover cop aren't quite that treacherously crash-prone -- but poorly tuned gameplay and controls sink what should have been a rousing ride from one of Grand Theft Auto's primary forefathers. Bugs and technical issues first. We tested three boxed copies of Driv3r on three different consoles, and a clear pattern of glitches emerged. The most common issue: The game often freezes for between three and ten seconds, then usually resumes without harm. Sometimes, however, it locks up permanently, requiring a reboot. Also, collision-detection mishaps are widespread -- everything from Tanner to his vehicle sometimes passes through walls or gets stuck in walls in a way that significantly interferes with gameplay. Frame-rate sluggishness and pop-up issues are also prevalent. Surprisingly, the pop-up doesn't involve the environment -- in fact, your line of sight is impressively long -- but cars and other traffic often teleport into existence a short distance down the road, adding unfairly to the challenge of high-speed driving. As far as the actual gameplay, Driv3r is like a car badly in need of a tune-up. Like the first two games, you play as an undercover cop infiltrating car-theft gangs by posing as a driver. Reflections created three sprawling cities and added new elements like speedboats and shooter-style gameplay on foot, but at its core, the game still revolves around high-speed pursuits. The best part of the action is how the cars handle on the bleeding edge of losing control. As in past Reflections games (Stuntman and other entries in the Driver series), making the smallest mistake can be lethal, particularly because excessively bouncy physics and insanely invulnerable obstacles (like lamp posts!) can send your vehicle cartwheeling into absurd wipeouts. Completing missions becomes a test of your stubbornness and endurance, and most players won't be able to stomach the process of incessantly repeating a mission until they succeed. The new on-foot gameplay also just flat-out sucks, and it figures far too heavily into the action. Aiming your weapon is an aggravating chore, the enemy A.I. is horribly lame, and there's just not a scrap of fun to be had. Visually, Driv3r looks outdated. Unsurprisingly, the Xbox version is substantially prettier, featuring richer lighting and smoother details that outshine the more pixelated PS2 game. The game's star power (voice acting by Michael Madsen, Ving Rhames, and more) and an impressive soundtrack make for a surprisingly good showing on the audio side. All these glitches and design problems don't make Driv3r unplayable, and the problems aren't as deep or as devastating as they were in Enter the Matrix, another much-hyped Atari disappointment. But they do make the game an intensely frustrating trial of patience that's rewarded with only the most fleeting glimmers of fun. If you love the Driver series with an unswerving loyalty, you'll be able to slog through Driv3r and extract your thrills. But if you're looking for something to tide you over until GTA: San Andreas is released later this fall, you'd better execute a 180 spin, floor it, and flee in the opposite direction.
