Finally the PS2 has a mountain bike game which everyone should enjoy! Amazing speeds, bikes, upgrades,great scenery...it has it all.

Plain gr8 fun!

I myself am not a fan of extreme sport or sport games and never played those kinds at all! except racing. when i got a demo of DD from playstation, i thot i mita as well try it to make the demo disc useful so i start playing it. after playing for 40 mins i thot to myself how darn hard it was. then i quit. then couple days l8r i figured i'll try to enjoy it again. and then it all went UPhill (no pun intended if it was a pun ;) It was then that i was having a blast! Man i loved the speed and those nice turns, jumps and the freedom of almost being able to move anywhere in the mountains. i finally was able to get first place and wow i was so happy and relieve that i was able to finish the tracks. the control are very simple once u get used to it except the trick buttons. the AI for other characters are good making the game quite challenging, not easy and not too hard eithr. it ranks just a little higher than medium difficulty. perfect! and the game is perfect! i'm planning to buy the game once it gets "greatest hits" or when they drop the price. until then $$ is pretty nice considering what you get in the package. very nice! recommended to all xtreme/sports fan out there and if yur not, try it out too. i'm sure u'll grow quite fond of it.

This is EASILY the best Bike Game ever!!! I Rate These:

Graphics:9.9/10
The only reason i didnt rate the graphics a 10 is becuase graphics now a days are extremely good. But, this game is still impressive. It has elaborate scenery including Chinese buildings.

GameModes:10/10
This game has LOTS of different ways to play. There's fun multiplayer games and u get hooked on the single player mode becuase theres so much to do. U try to get sponsers, unlock new game modes, and upgrade your bike to perfection.

Music:10/10
I like the music in this game becuase each song goes with the course. They're upbeat and gets your heart pumping so u can race better. Also, u can unlock bonus music which is a fun minim-mision.

Gameplay:10/10
This game is very indepth w/ the riding. Whats different about this game is that u have to set your landing when u fall from a jump. Other games sets u back up perfectly straight when u would actually fall on your side. Also, this game lets lots of new bike tricks because it lets u use Triangle as a trick button w/ R1,R2,L1, and L2 which makes lots of possibilityies. As for a steering, theres nothing to say about it; its perfect.

Where is Downhill Domination 2 ?!!!? DD is still my favorite game after 2 or 3 years!

This game is so addicting and excellent it's been full bore to the wall fun and excitement since we got the demo in the mail 3 years ago! I'm dying for Downhill Domination 2 and I haven't been able to find any news about it's development or release! My son and I battle each other in a custom MX tournament and I rarely win anymore!

Downhill domination is one of the best games I have ever played in my life. After you get past the menu (I had a little trouble starting a new game with a character) and choose from one of many different games such as a single event, like a race; the superjump; a career; and a mosh bowl (do I need to explain?) you enter the bike shop where you start the game by choosing a brand-name, real-life bike, from a well-known manufacturer such as Specialized, GT, Giant, and Karpiel; buy special unlocks with the money you make racing opponents, winning races, etc.; view your sponsors and "resume'," and customize bikes with a wide variety of brand-name parts.
From there you can choose from one of nine mountains, each with three different tracks, and then start throwing yourself off cliffs hundreds of feet tall and speeding down rocky trails in speeds excess of sixty miles per hour. Earn points by doing tricks, modifying them in hundreds of ways, and knocking opponents off bikes by kicking, checking, and hitting them with homing water bottles.
I will say it one more time, this is one of the greatest games I have ever played. I highly reccomend you discover this game for yourself, it is worth it.

All I can say about this game is what I have watched of its video on a demo disk running in our store (I am a Team member at the store). The part I like about the game is the animals that infatuate almost every course. From Antelope to Full grown, Angry, Grizzly bears "Shudders involuntarily". This games downhill senario is in a league of its own and will definatly be a smash hit with anyone looking to try something new.

I think this is a very great game. I first got the demo of it and then just had to have the game. It is very fun and exiting.

This game brings it's best.This game has amazing graphics and gameplay,besides it's the only game for the ps2 that has bashing bikes and flying waterbottles.STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
