Only if your a fan or the Cartoon Network, will this game be a must buy.
Don't waste your money on this game, or your time. This game is fun for younger kids under 7 maybe. The levels are limited to movements, and the graphics are odd. My son (10yr.) had this game finished in a few hours time. This game can't even hold a candle to Mario's racing games.

Think of it as "Mario Kart: Double Dash", Cartoon Cartoon style !

That's right, it's a funtabulous free-for-all featuring a ton of your favorite Cartoon Network characters. However, don't count on expecting the likes of Billy, Mandy, the Eds, Lazlo, or Blooregard. This game has characters from former hits like "Dexter's Laboratory", "Courage the Cowardly Dog", "The Powerpuff Girls", and "Cow and Chicken". You have to admit though, I'm quite glad to see them all back again. I hope you do, too.

And another thing, it's rather hard to believe that they've managed to round up the original voices of the characters such as Michael Dorn (I. M. Weasel), Thea White (Muriel), Eddie Deezen (Mandark), E.G. Daily (Buttercup), and Howard Morris (Flem). They've still got it, nonetheless. Listen real carefully for some kind of speech upon winning a race.

Anyhoo, "Cartoon Network Racing" has a plethora of cool characters like Dexter, Mojo Jojo, Eustace, Johnny Bravo, The Red Guy, Dee Dee, Fuzzy Lumpkins, I. R. Baboon, Bunny Bravo, and much more. You can mix and match these characters to your racing advantage consisting of a driver with a cool-looking vehicle, and a co-driver with unique powers that involve flight, speed, defense, or attack. (I love it when the shows' themes play during the character select.)

Once you've selected your players, you can choose one of three Single Player racing modes: Quick Race, Tournament, or Final Elimination. As you drive around the uniquely themed tracks, watch out for opponents' attacks and powerups. Of course, you can counteract these with some of your special attacks once you've filled up a special power meter by power-sliding or attacking an opponent for a "Revenge Bonus". Also, look for big buttons that trigger special hazards to your advantage. When you win first place in the tournament mode, you'll not only get to unlock new tracks and playable characters, but also 12 Cartoon Network cartoons ! The cartoons will be there for viewing in the Gallery section of the game. You can also go to Co-op Mode to play with a friend or Versus Mode to go against a friend. There are different modes of play in Versus for all to enjoy such as "Mine Mine Mine" and "Bombastic" modes.

So get ready for an animated adrenaline rush with some of the greatest Cartoon Network stars ever created. And for on the go, get "Cartoon Network Racing" for Nintendo DS. One more thing, if you want to see these older yet unforgettable shows in more episodes, try YouTube or better yet, the Video section of the Cartoon Network website for full-length episodes and much more. They're still the greatest in my book.

This game is a lot of fun for adults as well as kids. In the same spirit of Mario Kart, you get to take your opponents! We had a lot of fun playing this game, and it took a while to unlock all of the characters and beat it.

"Cartoon Network Ruined Racing"

Cartoon Network Interactive got into a very bad habit of releasing this game.
I got it for Chirstmas, and was really excited to play as Courage the Cowardly Dog. Every time I play it when I pick him as the driver, he'll whimper really loud and say, "No, no!" Just because of that, I was so upset.
It's almost like he is saying to me that he does not want to get picked. He acts like a baby, and having a temper fit. Not only is that bad enough, the grapics have him act like a chicken, or something like that.

The game is even worse. After you choose your characters, you pick a mode you want to play in, you go from level, to level trying to beat other drivers. Some of the modes are really frustrating. It was so bad, I kept
getting hit by weapons, or driving off the track by accident.
I am NOT kidding.
Bravo, Cartoon Network. You've turned one of your games into pure junk. Rent this and heaven help you. Or get "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy." I'm sure you will have a good time playing that one.
