I must say this game is exellent and better than the first one.
The first hitman game you buy wepons for the points you get, but hitman 2 FREE!
Graphics are great, so I give 8/10 points for graphics, weapons great, 10/10 points for wepons movies great, 7/10 points for movies.
The game was hard, and I got stuck on some levels, but somehow I made OK.
I played this game over and over again.
Im never silent in hitman2, I just run and kill everyone.
You are going to love this game.
There is a lot of ways you can pass the level, you can be silent, or loud. BR>Well im not gonna tell what happens in the end, but you are going to love it.
ENJOY!!! :-)
Like father, like son... Hitman 1, Hitman 2...

Not much difference in this game from the original. Had some difficulty with the controls, especially switching weapons... The original was a nightmare... Hitman 47 and IGI were both nightmares! I kept playing them until I couldn't stand it anymore... The controls were terrible and I still see some problems with it in this game... The game is interesting and it's definitely fun to blow somebody away, but the controls are still a bit awkward... I'm on the fence with this one folks...You might find it a lot of fun and manage to work the controls better than me. EADOS needs to do some work on this game before it's really top notch... It has the makings of an excellent game with some deficiencies...primarily contols... The demo didn't allow me to save either, n'or did the first Hitman game. Like IGI, EADOS was supposed to have addressed that issue in the new game...
One of the best games ever

After playing all the levels i decided to write a review of this game. From what i can see this game can not be matched. An amazing storyline beautiful scenery and nice locations. it is a great break from mindless "kill them all games". To add to it is an extremely profound ending which really wants you to look forward to a sequel. Its great the way that you can go back to your shed and test your new weapons on birds, sheep ect. Overall i would say this game is amazing exept for 2 flaws.
1. NOT LONG ENOUGH, I BEAT THE WHOLE THING IN A WEEK END
2. THE GAMES DESIGNERS ARE GOING TO HAVE A HELL OF A TIME MAKING A SEQUAL TO BEAT THIS.
i really hope that they do make a sequal.
and can you really shoot guns out of peoples hands. it says so in the strategey guide. it also says you can shoot through doors.
Baldie strikes again.

Hitman 2 is a fun game offering creative missions with multiple pathways to reach your goals. Although I enjoy a challening game, at times unless I sat back and really surveyed the entire level ahead of time, I found myself in perpetual reload. Agent 47 looks a little goofy when he creeps, which is distracting.
Pros:
Great graphics.
Lots of room for variety in your game play.
Challenging.
Cons:
Annoying controls. No quick rotation. I can't tell you how many times I ran 47 into walls and couldn't rotate him away fast enough.
Buy it, play it, and enjoy it.
some bad flaws but otherwise good

When i first got Hitman 2 i was expecting a realistic 1st and 3rd person tactical/shooter. I was dissapointed when i found that you(47) could take about 25 shots from a 9mm pistol and not die. Also if the AI had an automatic gun they would shoot it like was a pistol. They would never switch to rock-and-roll mode and shoot at you. When you shot a 3 round burst from the m4 at an AI player's foot they would still be able to fight too. I was dissapointed with the unrealistic way the guns handled.
The first person view was also a failure in my point of view. The perspective was way off. All the guns were too small in first person. I only play with 3rd person view.
Other than all that, the graphics are great, The AI smart, the missions good, and the variety of weapons good.
Excellent game!

This game should be game of the year for 2002, the graphics are supurb, the music is well done, I wish they would come out with the sound track for this game, and gameplay is awesome.
This game is suppose to have got some bad reviews because some people deem the content objectionable, well, being and American of Italian decent, (who are depicted as Mobsters in the game) I still think the game rocks! It is just a game and people that get all bent out of shape over the way people are depicted in the game should just not buy it.
I would get this game over Max Payne and Grand theft auto, is is better than both. My favorite is the improvements that were made in the game, one of which is the gameplay itself, you can now save the games, which could not be done in Hitman 1. I can't wait for Hitman 3. I would give it 10 stars if I could have!
Thief + Mafia = Hitman 2

This game has some really good concepts to it. I love the fact that it has many of the same characteristics as Thief did and the way the screen moves is very much the same as in Mafia. These two similarities make it almost a guarenteed winner right out of the gate. Gameplay is really good and inbetween missions you get to gaze over all the guns you have aquired so far in your tool shed. This is a neat aspect, but whats even better is when you get briefed for the mission you only know certain things about what the level's going to look like. Everything else is left up to anticipation. The maps may look overwhelming atfirst but after you play a few missions you'll be able to read the maps as well as I can. If you don't have patience for stealth, you can run in guns blazing. You may not get very far but it still turns a potentially "boring" game into something more action packed. However, if you want to stay back and observe and then go in for the kill when you see your opertunity then you can do that too. Challenge yourself by trying to do an entire mission without killing anybody else but the main objective. Its hard, but not impossible.
The only thing I thought could be a little better was human/CPU interaction once you were disguised as an enemy soldier. No matter how normal you act, you will still get shot at by an enemy if you brush their shoulder. Some of the missions are hard, but most of them flow pretty smoothly.
I guess the biggest thing to look out for is the XP non-capatibility with some computers. I use XP and the game works fine for me, but for others it will crash, so keep that receipt.
Have fun with this game, I sure am...

After reading so many reviews on this game, I have a few comments to make since I played BOTH the demo versions and the full game, and have both. Any intense 3d game is going to require that you have certain, and better yet, EXPECTED requirements, and that means good hardware to! Bugs 9 times out of 10 are coming from someone not having the proper computer setup, including a good video card, minimum 512 MB of video memory and minimum 1.2 GHz computer processor (and properly and continually maintaining it with good utility software even those that already come with WIN XP and using good virus software and firewall software if you use broadband high spped connections to the internet). I am happy to own the NVIDIA GeForce 4600 TI (from LeadTek), which is the BEST video card there is right now and runs ANYTHING! AND DOES IT 100 percent without flaw! All games depend on not only the programmer, but mainly YOU having the proper setup. I have run, installed and played ALL major 3d games including, but not limited to, MAX PAYNE, both SERIOUS SAM games, No One Lives Forever One AND TWO, Soldier of Fortune 2, UNREAL TOURNAMENT (all versions), HALF-LIFE (all versions), etc., etc and have NO problems to report!... NONE! So if I can do it, then it is not the problems with the games or even with the programmers. The problems lie solely with the person that uses the computer and sets it up, whether they have someone to do it or not. AND BY THE WAY, NO CONSOLE CAN TOUCH THE REPRODUCTION OF GAMES ON A PC THROUGH A PROPER SETUP USING A GOOD GRAPHICS BOARD:) I also find the AMD ATHLON XP processors to be hands down better and smoother than ALL Intel chips! IT IS A PROVEN FACT ON PAPER EVEN. I use ALL forms of PC Benchmarks software from Mad Onion and I have excellent reports. I hope this helps clear up some misguided reports and quirks with some people. No offenses intended or meant.
