Released in 1994 on the Sega Genesis videogame console, (Taz in Escape from Mars) is an extremely entertaining side scrolling game that is fun for the whole family. The plot is simple, Taz has been captured by fellow looney tunes character Marvin the Martian for placement in the martian zoo.Your mission is to help Taz escape and to payback Marvin for capturing you. The game consists of six different levels: Mars,Moleworld,Planet X,Mexico,The Haunted Castle and Marvins House, with each level comprised of 2-3 areas. Other well-known Looney Tunes characters such as Gossamer and Yosemite Sam make brief appearances throughout the course of the game. The gameplay is kept simple and non-violent. Taz uses his signature spin to defeat enemies and travel underground. Taz can also eat burgers and cakes to regain lost health and jump to evade enemy attacks. In conclusion, Taz in Escape from Mars takes us back to the good old days of gaming, and will continue to provide quality family entertainment for years to come.
