A very fun game indeed, although the gamplay is a little boring. But overall a great game but defenetly costs WAY to much.
Unreal is great, but not like Quake II

The shots are not real in Unreal, but grafics and pictures are very beautiful and detaileds. Here in Brazil is a success.
Unreal is a MUST for anyone reading this.

With the best graphics that I have ever seen, UNREAL definately takes home first place for eye candy. The sounds will undoubtedly scare the SATAN out of any one of you hardened gamers. UNREAL is absolutely the best game that could be in your library, and that is all that can be said about this great game. BUY IT NOW
Good game, but requires enourmous RAM and FAST processor

I have the MAC version of this game and it's fun but difficult to run because I don't have 128 megs of RAM and I don't have a G3 cpu. My system is pretty good but not state of the art--which is what is needed to play this game well. It takes forever to load.
Low-quality game for a non-wealthy single player.

This game is sooo below the expactations! It's got really nice graphics, rather good sound, but it lacks the most important thing; REAL GAMEPLAY. Unreal is incredibly boring when playing alone, and if you don't own one of the most expensive computers around you can just throw your low-guality game right down the trashcan. But if you're mister wealthyboy go on and buckle up for a quite nice ride in the Online-game store nearest to you.
Beautiful but Boring

Yes, the graphics and sounds to this game are unreal, however the gameplay is nowhere near. The puzzles, storyline, and overall gameplay is totally lacking from the "incredible new experience that would redefine the generation." With the four years spent in creating this game, you would think more time would have been spent in gameplay rather than just the grapics engine. Look elsewhere for "unreal" experiences.
Better than Doom and Quake

The simple thing that makes this thing better than Quake and Doom is the bot match. You can play against 15 computer players and have a kill fest. You get to see beautiful terrain if you stop from killing the few creatures. The enemies know to run away from you and they know when to shoot you. This game is a more realistic game than Doom and Quake. I love it, and anyone who says Doom is better should get a better computer and see which one adds up as the better.
The best game I've played, so far...

When I first played Unreal, it really blew my mind with it's INCREDIBLE graphics and mood music. Imagine, if you will, playing a 3D game with almost Myst-like graphics. I just simply could not believe the rich details that this game offered. While being a 3D game, it's not a "blast-fest" in terms of body count. But still that did not detract me from enjoying this brilliantly stunning game. I enjoyed it for it's "immersion" quality - I mean, this game really got me into it's reality. The colors and textures are extremely rich, and the music is mostly atmospheric and moody. If you can appreciate these features, you will LOVE the game. But be sure your computer can handle it or it might not be too fun. It ran fine on my PII/400.

A game not advised for the weak hearted !!!

...and I mean it. I dont have words to describe the graphics. It is excellent. Background music is great (although repetitive). The first half may be a little dragging, but the later half can make you sweat. Once I started the game, I could not think of anything else but Unreal. I also took some days off to play the game. I recommend it for any player who wants 'great stuff' in his game.
OK GAME

THE GAME IS FUN, BUT PRETTY MUCH THE SAME AS QUAKE II. GET A VOODOO2 CARD AND SEE WHAT I MEAN BY QUAKE HAVING JUST AS EXCELLENT GRAPHICS. BESIDES, SOMEONE SAID THAT IT IS SO GOOD THAT THEY CAN'T BEAT IT. WELL I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT I DON'T WANT A GAME THAT I CAN'T BEAT! GOOD GAME, BUT NOTHING YOU HAVEN'T SEEN BEFORE.
