Tribes is great. I bought it without knowing much about it and loved it. You can have a lot to fun even if you aren't any good. I had trouble learning with the tutorial, so I skipped it and I've enjoyed the game anyway. One of the best parts of the game is that you play against real people, not computer characters put on set paths. Also, the amounts and the types of weapons are great. All the different maps and bases just make the game even better! If I could, I'd give this game more than 5 stars

Tribes is awesome. Probably the best thing about the game is the fact that everyone can get whatever weapon suits them best. The games where you have to find the guns kinda get old, because if you dont find it, you get killed trying to. The stratagy is probably the most incredable thing about the game. it sounds so simple, capture the flag, but there is SO much you can do. talk with you team to create a diversion, or simply go kamakazi with the scout. This game is by far one of the best stratagy games out there. Probably the best part about it is the phrases. They are great. Bye!

Tribes is a great game. Teamplay is varied and fun, emphasis is placed on the team's ability to work cooperatively. Teams will have to build proper defense for their base or there will be a shortage of certain necessities. They can build force fields, turrets, and several other defense mechanisms. Attackers can also employ several tactics to destroy the enemy. Players can sabotage bases by destroying generators, radar dishes, and turrets. The most interesting aspect, though not meant to be part of the game, are "duels." The game's main weapon (the disc launcher) requires quite an amount of skill combined with their ability to maneuver quickly. A skilled warrior can challenge others in the field "duels" to see who's better than who. Though the community's players are highly competitive, they are also very friendly.

This game is the perfect one for team-based play, with the action fast and furious on exandingly beautify open air maps that consist of multiple bases on foothill-like geograpy. Unlike many a other FPS, this one has many attractive gameplay tweaks(different classes of armor and powerups to buy, as well as air vehicles you can fly). The game is very fun in the most visceral way, and its focus as a multiplayer game really makes the online play with others very interesting. Kudos to Sierra and Dynamix!

This game is the best game I have ever played! Once you get started, you can never go away from your computer! This is a MUST buy game! There is nothing like it! Playing over the internet with other people is great. There are many different options of gameplay which make the game ever changing. Joining what are called "clans", or a team, and facing other teams is great. I have just recentally joined a clan, and I love it. My clan is right now soring to the top. If you want a game that you will never beable to put down, this is the one. There are vary few down falls though. For example if you have a slow connection to the internet, the gameplay may be hindered a little. I have a cable connection, which is great, but it does pause a couple times, which makes the game a little slower, but, overall it is still great. A regular phone line connection is also fine to play with. Just be sure to get another line, cause once you start playing, you'll never stop!!!

this game is the best, i'm not kidding. I got it to my house and put it in my computer and it hasn't been out of it for 3 months! That is how great it is. the graphics are great the teamplay is fun instead of having idiotic computer players you play WITH other people. you can fly aircraft too. BUY IT!!

My wife left me, the dog ran away, the house is falling down around me... But I don't care. I have Tribes. As long as I have a good ping, I am happy.

But seriously, This is the first online game I have ever played. I have tried others since I first got Tribes, but none compare. I have a crappy system and worse phone lines but, I still love playing. I can't believe it's not more popular. They don't know what they are missing. So if you are reading this, buy the game, and when Tribes 2 comes out, buy that too.

When i first got this game i wasn't sure if I would like. My friend had told me about it and i was thought i wouldn't like it. But as soon as I installed it I was hooked!! This game is totally da bomb. You will get so addicted. If you have ever played any version of MECHWARRIOR by MICROSOFT you will like this game. The graphics are incredable and the gameplay is awesome!! I HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone who wants to have fun.

I recently played tribes 2 over a freinds house, and it became addicting. So i borrowed the game to put on my computer, but i didnt have a fast enough card. So i was seraching for some games similar to tribes 2. Then it hit me! Tribes. of course. Tribes is a lot like t2, but it doesnt have as steep computer requierments. So i can play it. It so much fun. I Highly recomend Tribes to anyone with a comp that cant handle tribes 2. By the way T2 is really cool also, just gotta have a good comp for it!
