Great Price for greta Games

When i originally bought Star Trek Armada and Star Trek Voyager I payed [$$]each for them. i was surprised to see the price dropped so quickly for a aweosme bundle like this.
STVoayer may get boring after a while but the exp pack adds a few new thing and the holomatch is never boring.
Star trek Aramda is not boring. it is never the same new missions, new places to build etc.
Star Trek Armada 2 is very confusing to me and hard to manueve
If just want ST VOyager Elite force+ exp pack and Armada get this. it's a great deal!

Not the fun it claims to be!

As an incurable Trekker who loves all things Star Trek I purchased this game thinking it would be lots of fun to play, but found it extrememly limiting. One has to be quite computer savvy to close applications to get it to work marginally faster than snail pace. Although I have a brand new computer with a great processor, large hard drive and lots of memory and all the 'bells and whistles' I found this game 'eats' so much memory that it takes forever to get your ship across the quadrant. It certainly is a game where you can cook dinner, do the laundry and shop for groceries while your ship and crew fly the 'deep space' mission and still arrive back in time to make the important decisions about where you're going to send the crew next. The 'still' graphics are okay but the 'animation'is pitiful. The one great feature is the sound effects and the Star Trek music. After you've run through all the pre-set missions there's 'nothing new on the horizon'. I'm not into programming so that was the end of the game as I couldn't compose my own missions. I found it was a nighmare trying to 'make' my own crew by importing images and bios and finally gave up in frustration. There's no scope for upgrading your ship beyond the 'default' specifications so some missions are doomed to be failures from the start as not all 'fleet' ships are capable of successfully completing all the missions. Once the missions are complete (flown) there's only one word I can think of to describe this game ... Boring!

Save your money, this game is a dog. It couldn't carry A1's lunch-box. If you liked Armada 1, you will really be shocked at how bad this game is. It reeks from top to bottom...

TOOOOOO good

this is going to be the best star trek & stratigy game out and that is before it is finnished so just think what is will be like when it is. i've seen a heck of a lot of pics and data on this game and if anyone out there thought Armada 1 was good well i say this is 100 times better and with a 3D battle field, ships, stations, nebulae and planets what else could you ask for in a game {dont answer ;p }.

this is a must for stratigy fans as well as star trek fans

This game is the perfected version of the original Star Trek Armada! It's so great to get away from games such as starcraft and age of empires whose graphics are really two dimentional. in tactical mode you can view a ship from all angles and the battles in this view are spectacular! apart from that, new resources to gather adds another element to the original game. the borg tactical fusion cube is absolutely awsome. it is also nice to get away from equal races. yes, much is the same between races, yet much is different. this game truely stands on its own without the star trek name to hold it up. it is finally a game that can give a better name to the rather unsuccessful star trek gaming industry. the original is great, but in this case the sequel is far better.

the best Star Trek game yet!

The graphics are unbelivable and the battles are very realistic. A Star Trek gamer or not you will love this game. If I walked in and saw someone battling, I would think it was a Star Trek eposiode! It is great.

No good if it doesn't work on your computer.

This game will not work on newer computers. Even though tech support sent directions to allow me to play the game it still didn't work.

I loved SFC I. Empires at war was a game I really wanted to like. Really. It looks to be about the game game, with a better dynaverse and improved this and that. However, I could barely get the game to work. I downloaded the patch, searched and posted a decent smattering of questions online at a bunch of forums, including Tandrens. When I finally got everything working (Took over a week, btw.) I finally got into the game itself. Hooray, right? Wrong. On my first mission, I had to stop a pirate frigate. I kept shooting at the pirate's ship, lauched every missile I had, send all my shuttles against him. No luck. I spent about a half-hour trying to blow the damn thing up. I could barely make a dent in his shields. WTH! This was the first mission. With a working knowledge of SFC I, I should have had a decently easy time of doing it. But after I gave up, I tried a new campaign, with the same results. I've been told the patch should take care of this, but for some reason it doesn't. At least not for me. I also, just from looking at it for the ten minutes I've spent not wasting my time trying to hurt the godlike pirates, think the dynaverse looks pretty bland. You can't tell what system are where, there's no info on them, nada. Anyway, this game sits on my shelf, mocking me. I know I could like it, if it would work right, but it won't. Hopefully SFC III will be less of a hassle, and I can get back to enjoying Taldren's Star Trek games. Of course, now they work for Activision, publishers of such horrid Star Trek games as Hidden Evil and Armada. There is no justice. Hopefully someone will grace us with Star Trek Titles set in the TOS era in the future. Or at least I hope so. So to sum up: Stay away from SFC II, unless you have a good week or so to get it working right.

Elite Force Strikes Back

I recently ordered Star Trek Elite Force 2 and from what I have learned the game will include brand new weapons, never before seen, more holomatches on holodeck, and of coarse- what we have been waiting for-Roaming mode, where you can walk the Enterprise vessel controling all that happens, and interacting with Members on the ship. I own Star Trek: Voyager Collectors edition and I know the graphics are very nice...but with Elite Force 2 the graphics look almost like a humanlike movie. Even if you dont watch Enterprise on UPN every Wednesday night at 9pm you will enjoy this game.

THIS IS THE BEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! And belive it or not, I HATE star trek. My friend convinced me to try it for a minute. And I played it for an hour. The graphics are completely outstanding! There are tons of different guns and this something called a holodeck is awesome. you can play awesome games on it. The storyline is great and the levels are awesome, from destroyed hulls of a spaceship, to mercenary spacestations, to frozen military bases on a mountain, to harsh volcanic planets, and you get to fight all these awesome alien things. I THINK THIS GAME AT LEAST COMPARES WITH GRANDTHEFT AUTO VICE CITY! And you have to be crazy, or it has to be an absolutly fabulous game! ( the answer is the latter one) Get it! You won't regret it.
