Well to start my review i'm gonna tell you straight off the bat, this game is TOTALLY worth buying. This is coming from a Sims fan.

Compared to the computer game and previous Sims games for game consoles, this game is great. The abilities in talking to people are great, for example when you become friends with someone, complete a job, or complete a goal you earn a social skill. Some are: Gamble, Blow Flame, and Grab Booty. They are very advanced and the other people you are doing it to respond.

The apartments you get are good.You get a pet with each apartment. The first apartment is useless. The second one, Blankwood Towers is more reasonable (especially since the game has a 2 player mode and i share the apartment with my sister's character), and Darius's Penthouse is THE BEST! i dont wanna tell everythong about his penthouse 'cause that would be no fun right? The citties are also fun. My favorites are: Neon East, Central Station, and Cozmo Street( because the Black Eyed Peas are there and they rock cause they are my fave band)

The clothing is so cool too. You can get a variety of piercings, tattoos, clothes that relate to the place you are in, hairstyles, makeup, sunglasses, etc. The clothes and accessories are so advanced, but u need money from the jobs which u help your Sim do.

You can also buy furnishings for your homes. Couches, plasma screen TVs, wallpapers, etc. are some things.

The levels are also semi-easy which is a plus so you dont get tired with the same old place and challenge.
You can also see you face on Billboards, T-Shirts, Posters, etc. too!!!!

In conclusion i recommend this game because it is very interesting and very graphically advanced. You will enjoy this game no matter what the age 'cause it is very addicting (trust me). It is well worth the money. I would like to thank the makers of the game too cause i would be lost without it! So i hope you found my review helpful and that you buy the game!

Its a fun game until you get the pent house wich is the last part. I really enjoy sims 2 nighlife better. If you want to know wich on e to get go for the sims 2 games.

A sim game is a game where you get to build everyhting from stratch, get family trees, relationships, BUT you cannot do anything like that in this game! ALL you do is just talk to people until you finally get to Darius's penthouse.. AND talking was SO boring, you couldn't even fall in love until you did the act romantic act when it finally turned yellow.

There are only 3 apartaments, 9 districts.. AMAZING isnt it?! And working was boring since you had to just press the buttons that it had on the middle of the screen, who cares? And also, it isn't educational, entertaining AT all! The sim games always had something to keep you hooked AND what is this to keep you hooked? nothing.

Do your money a favor and don't buy it!

This is not the Sims!!

If you play The Sims 2 for over 3 hours a day like me, then you will know that this game is nothing like it because The Sims 2 is so much better they are uncomparable. I swear I beat this game in like 3 days and there is nothing left to do!! It is not opened-ended at all. All you do is walk around the city like some sort of punky, spike-haired crack-addicted dope headed "gangsta" freak talking and doing crap for this fat dude named Darius. Wow. Oh my, we sure are having fun now!
Listen, the people who are sayign this is better than The Sims... probably never even touched The Sims 2 in their life *gasp*!! Why am I not surprised that people actually think this peice of trash is fun?
The Sims 2 is coming out for consoles, and it is going to be alot like The Sims 2 for PC. Soon, all of you will see how fun The Sims 2 is. This game SUCKS!!!

OH, and did I mention it had the Black Eyed Peas!!? WOW GEE AIN'T THAT GRAND!!!

Don't you kids who think this pathetic excuse for a Sims game is good have a rap concert to get to?

Do yourself a favor and get the sims 2.

Just got this game after spending a lot of time playing Sims Bustin' Out on GBA. Took awhile to get used to the control-environment relationship, but overall it works pretty well. I agree with one of the other reviewers on here: get used to lots of load times. Just to go hook up some new clothes or go back to your apt will require a lengthy load session. That sucks. Aside from this issue, the game is fun with lots to do. Somehow, though, I find myself drawn to the GBA versions of the Sims series....

This game is the best ever! New outfits, furniture, unlock pets, and reputation. Start a good relationship, VISIT MANY PLACES, your face will appear on posters! Black Eyed Peas are in the city! You should rent it first, but I was hooked! I then knew I HAD to buy it!

This game has really nice graphics. I was really wowed by it, and the environments. the music is cool (typical Sim/gibberish style) and the environments are something worth seeing. If that's what you like to buy a game for, then Urbz is the game for you. But if you'd like to have a game with a good plot line, or something that shows you've come to the end of the game and achieved victory status, don't get this game. It is fun, but in the end, you feel kind of gipped out of your time and money. I'm sad because this game had the potential of being great, but the shortcomings outweighed any good this game had. If you can find it for real cheap, then buying it is a good idea. But don't spend anything higher than 15/20 dollars

Good game, but... the only way to explain is pros and cons:

Pros:
Great Music -Who doen't love the Black Eyed Peas
Great Graphics -Urbz look better than ever
Time Managment -It doesn't take 1/2hr (in game time) to urinate
Clothes -Awesome, a lot of choices
Objects -Fun and easy to use

Cons:
To easy -I recommend this game more for the Middle School crowd
No Ending -when you finally get to The Penthouse, then what?
Rep -It take a lot of your time just talking to people -boring
Shopping -Hated it, much better in other Sims games
Build Mode - Hard to use

I did not enjoy this game much. I never play it because it takes so long to load. You have closets in each of the neighborhoods and you are supposed to keep track of what kind of clothing is "in" in each particular area. For example, if you are in the skateboard neighborhood, you have to dress like them. BUT then the outfit you were just wearing is now in the skateboard closet so all your clothes get tracked everywhere, i have no idea how you are supposed to keep up with that. If you think of how a kid with divorced parents may have two rooms with all their stuff, but now multiply it times however many neighborhoods are in this game, all you are doing is changing clothes and waiting to reload the screen. For me, it was a total waste.

This game is not as good as Sims 2. One reason is using a console is annoying. Two the urbz are moving from diffrent sections and come off as phony poseurs. Buying clothes for "style" is not fun because you must buy diffrent clothes for diffrent sections and that is expensive. Also this game is short. I started in Gasoline Row and have moved from Centeral Station to the skater park in 4 hrs. It is fun but skip this and buys Sims 2 instead.
