Mmm... decapitation...

This game is one of the most interesting action games i have ever come across. The 3rd-person view is fun and quite intuitive. The weapons rule (a couple of ranged weapons could have made it a tad more fun). And the gameplay is amazing. For example, you've just smashed an enemy with a dwarven warhammer. Wanna have some fun? Pick up a leg... or an arm... or even a head. Now run up to someone and throw it at them. This won't get you points, but it will cause you and anyone else in the room to giggle like a Japanese schoolgirl. Great multiplayer fun. Just one downside: no bots to play against, so you better have a LAN or a decent internet connection.

This is hand to hand combat Unreal Tournament. Not a bad idea at all. There are no projectile weapons, but you can throw whatever you can pick up including swords, maces, heads, and limbs. There is nothing quite so satisfying as lopping off an opponent's sword arm and then using it to bludgeon him. If you think you'd like a go at all melee combat, buy this. It is a little buggy, but really not bad at all. The Unreal engine continues to provide excellent graphics and playability, even if all you've got is an old voodoo 3 graphics card like me.

this is the best game in the world i have previously owned it but i broke the cd. i would have to give this game 2 thumbs up for the selection and game play.

I loved the original Rune, and I still deathmatch on it today. I think that this expantion may have it's flaws, but ...! It adds more multiplayer RUNE, and more Rune = more FUN! BUY IT WHEN IT COMES OUT IF YOU LIKE RUNE!! YOU WILL BE HOOKED!

This expansion adds more maps, models and a new defensive mode to one of the best action games for the PC ever.

Believe me, the ability to block throwing weapons now really adds up to the fun this game already provided.

For those who dont know Rune, let me tell you... its already 3 years old and still one of the best, if not the best, melee game for the PC.

The history mode is just the beginning, the multiplayer options make this game unique. A lot of maps are available on the web and so are skins, models and etc.

But what make this game really shine against the competition is the feeling. If you love melee, you will love Rune plain and simple. Very brutal and realistic in many ways, the fights are fast, deadly and fun.

No other game makes me laugh so much while i play against others, a must have for any melee fighting maniac.

THIS GAME IS SO... SWEEEEET BUY IT!

Ok, first off i got so.. frusterated w/ this game. here's 2 tips

1. DOWNLOAD THE.. PATCHES OR ELSE!!

2. IF U DON'T HAVE A 3D GRAPHICS ACCELERATOR EITHER a. GET ONE! b. TURN UP THE RESOLUTION!

PS. Turning up the resolution to high will have ur game choppy as heck so don't turn up too much. Remember dont sack game play for graphics!!

Anyway, just download the patches,turn up ur resolution, and (if u can)get a 3D graphics accelerator. (i havnt gotten one yet but i will) If u dont do these things ur not going to like this game very much.

The reason i gave this four stars instead of 10! is because of the controls and the choppiness of the game (if u want good graphics and dont have an 3D accelerator then it gets really choppy)

BUT THIS GAME WILL KEEP U BUSY FOR HOURS ALL U DO IS JUST HAVE FUN!!

BUY THIS GAME...

THIS GAME is not good, I THINK U NEED A GRAPHICS ACCELERATOR to work

Don't buy this game. For some reason it goes back 2 my desktop sometimes when i click on a game!! Buy half-life or Unreal Tourament if u dont have a 3d accelerator. Those will work fine and r awesome games!! The reason i gave it 2 stars instead of none is becuz THIS GAME ROCKS!! if u can get it working correctly! Its completely amazing! U'll never wanna get off. ITs so good u might get kicked off it by ur mom!! IF U CAN GET IT 2 WORK THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER!!
