This was not a bad game. But beleive me-your using your money on an okay game when you could be playing something interesting like Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Ages. You'll spend hours hopelessly wandering dungeons,Hogwarts, and a million other places. The story of the game strays from J.K. Rowling's actual story: like in Gringott's Harry rides in a cart, he doesn't walk around. I bought this game in hopes I'd have the fun I had reading Harry Potter. Boy was I disappointed!
It really takes a ton of perserverence, fighting all the impossible battles with powerful creatures that are constantly a step stronger than you. So if you've bought all the better games in the world (quite a few, in my opinion), you're so strong a Harry Potter fan you'd (...) someone who dislikes it, or you're a complete fool and/or (...),buy this game.
Amazing

This game is amazing! I know that the ingredients for Snape are tricky to find but it's quite simple. You can find BOOMSLANG in Snape's office on the poster with a snake on it, you can find the SNAKE FANGS if you fight a snake in Snape's office and win (you will recieve the fangs if you did), and I found out that you have to find 2 (two) BEETLE EYES (even though Snape didn't say that)in the grasses in Hagrid's property. Those who have found out how to find a cure to Peeve's spell please write a review saying how.

On Christmas, when Peeves hides you presents, they are hidden in Filch's store room (6th floor, on the right at the end of a long hallway)in a silver chest. And, I'm sorry, but Filch WILL catch you (it's unavoidable). As a bonus, you can find the spell Locomotor Wibbly in the library on the first floor (not in the restricted section) and I think you may be able to find Locomotor Mortis there too (and maybe Petrificus Totalus). If you are having trouble with anything else, post it on a review (I read them regularly) and I'll write another helpful review.

Possibly one of the most confusing spots in the game is where you have seen the dead unicorn, but when you look under current quest it says "find the injured unicorn". When I saw that, I was under the presumption that there was more than one unicorn in the woods. Ignore what the current quest thing says. To get out of the forest, go left as much as you can, up as much as you can, and right as much as you can. At the spot you entered the forest, walk towards it at several different angles util you are out. Go back into hogwarts where you will be greeted by professor McGonagall.
I have an extremely useful tip on how to easily beat Voldemort. I try to be at least on level 50. Have the spell 'Locomotor Mortis' (you can find it in the restricted section). Along with that, have lots of Grand Wiggenweld and Grand Pepperup potions with you. To get rid of Quirrell, Incendio Tria is the most effective. When up against Voldemort, at first chance use Locomotor Mortis. Besides turning him a lovely shade of green, he will be frozen for several turns. Several turns that he won't be able to hurt you. The spell most effective on him (ironically) is Flipendo Tria. Deal that damage to him, and, when ever he comes back to his senses, hit him with 'Mortis' again. If you play your cards right, you'll need Pepperup more than Wiggenweld. Speaking of cards, a good combination to use when against him is Double SP (if you have it). It will double you stamina points, and you'll need all the stamina points you can get when against Voldemort. Another good combination is either Replenish Magic or Replenish Stamina. It's pretty obvious what those do. Well, good luck against Voldemort.
Great for all ages

I just got this game and I love it!! It is much better than Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for GameBoy Advance. The game follows alot of adventures that Harry faces in the book; examples are: the trip to Diagon Alley and Gringotts, Norbert the dragon, the Forbidden Forest, and flying on your broom. You must train to get to high levels and to learn new spells. I recomend this game to everyone who loves Harry Potter and the books.
Best Game Ever!

I just got this and really like it. The first test for Harry is to get 6 vials at Professor Snape's potion class and this is hard but fun. Watchout for the gnomes. You'll have to get the game to find out the rest. Buy the game!
Tips For The Game :) (For all having trouble)

For all of you having trouble out there here are some tips. Do NOT continue reading if you want to do everything by yourself. Gryffindor is on the seventh floor (Nearly Headless Nick is on the sixth floor), the old school tie that Nick asks for is in one of the moving gargoyles in the entrance hall. To find the ingredients for Snape, look in Hagrid's yard for beetle eyes, battle snakes near the greenhouses for snake fangs, and sneak into Snapes office (right across from potions) and look by the snake picture for boomslang skin. The purple rabbit is by the greenhouses. To get rid of Peeves' curse, after going to the library, Peeves will come to tease you that he left the book with a muggle, then you go to the muggle studies room (fifth floor, to the left) and go to the TV and press A. That's as much good advice as I can give.
This is GREAT!

This game is so fun!!!
I have gotten past so many things!
I wish there was another game to go with the book series!
Like the Goblet of Fire was an awesome book!
Also, I liked the third book, the prisoner of azkaban.
The second book, though, had the most action.
I liked the basilisk.
You guys should see if there's another one put there!
Then, you could make the most money off of me, I'm like nthe biggest walking Harry Potter fan alive!
Writre to me if you guys get another Harry Potter game, on Game Boy Color!
Love,
