Sleazy manual, terrible controls, this game just isn't fun. Hard to go around corners, it's almost impossible to get a car. And shooting weapons is just plain annoying. For your sake, don't buy this game!!!

If you can get past the awful controls on this game, it is actually fairly fun to play. You get to be the bad guy this time around, which has an addictive attraction if you ask me.

Run over cops, shoot cops, mow down pedestrians for no apparent reason, etc. Fun, right? Yep, you bet. Good luck with those controls though, you're gonna need it.

cool game; the control is tedious

GTA is a cool concept---you are the criminal trying to get a rep buy pulling jobs for the mob. The only problem here is the control; at first it is frustating enough to make you want to stomp on the game and then blow it up. Once you play it awhile, the control becomes less hectic and you begin having fun.

Despite the alluringly sleazy premise, this game fails on all levels. After struggling through perhaps the worst instruction book I have ever seen, I was confronted with a driving game that renders steering impossible. Add to this a confusing map environment, microscopic graphics, and poor sound, and you have the makings of a first class overhyped loser. Amazon really needs a "0" stars option.

Ok, I'm writing this to help people out. First off, this is gameboy so dont expect to see great graphics. I just so happen to have the PC version of GTA and i like the game. I just got GTA for gameboy and i was impressed. The controls are funked up for both Gameboy and PC so dont worry. You'll get use to them. Everything from the pc version is in the GB version. All the gameplay is intact, it plays just like the PC and PSX versions! Its a great port for gameboy. All of the great gameplay found in other ports is in the Gameboy version which is incredible! Its good to see such an original game hit the gameboy. You wont be disapointed, just keep in mind that its gameboy.

GTA is a game that lets you be the criminal. Working for the mob, avoiding the cops, and squeezing in a little pedestrian polo here and there. It's not perfect, but it's a gameboy game. The computer game is nicer, but I'd like to see anyone carry that thing around. This game's a nice, portable,fun,exiting, game that everybody should buy.

It has alot of action in it, I rate it one of the best games

This game is the best game to come out on the playstation ever, while GTAL (Grand Theft Auto London) was ok it didn't have the flair and brilliance of the first game. This is a must for anyone who loves to kill, drive, drown, shoot, do jobs, gang war-fare and any other violence related stuff legally

I bought Grand theft auto about 4 months ago and I have to say that I love it. When I first played it, the controls were a little confusing,but once you keep playing it, you really enjoy it alot. I'm addicted to it even today! Don't belive all the critism and get this game. Just make sure that you are at least 13 because the language is a little raw for the kids!

i look at a lot of reviews and i know all u guys really want to know is if the game is good or not. well.... this game is great and i strongly suggest u purchase this game. it gets confusing but all in all it is an awsome game. if ur into games involving crime, drugs, mobs, and running from cops this is the game for u.
