One of the best RPG's ever, but a touch tedious

To bad it's not for sale.
I'd love to have that map.
Basically,
No one who ever enjoyed Dardlands, should miss this one. I'll admit that Darklands got a bad rap because of bugs, but if you got all the patches in, you know that you got the most realistic RPG of all time.
Knights of Legend runs a strong second.
Graphically, it's great for 1989. The interface is turn based and has many nice touches. It will rain sometimes, for example, (something that was not to be seen again until Ultima 7). However, saving your party is tedious and the attack/defense options in battles are even more so.
That is it's one, great weakness. The battle, at least the setup, is probably the most tedious in any RPG that I've ever played. However, that is to give the player complete control over everything.
This is a worthy cause to some, but not all.
Basically, if you liked Ultima 5 and Darklands, I think you'll find the extra keystrokes worth it. If not, well, it's free for download these days, ya can't beat free.
Now if I could just get that map...
