rent it instead

This is a very limited game that might be fun for children but not for adults. It provides, at the most, a couple of hours of entertainment. Buy the Playstation game instead.

You don't want this game

imagine Mortal Kombat. Now take away most of the characters, give each reamaining character only 2 moves and crappy 5 hit max combos, give them no plot. There now you have Xena.

i love xena but....

this was just a fight game. there was really no goal to it at all exept to fight all of the charecters and then fight the champion of dahak (all of which are very easy may i add). it doesnt present much of a challenge at all. it would be alot better if xena went on a quest or something.

the charecters were accuarate... how they looked and thier fighting skills and all. some of thier moves are pretty cool.

This is a GREAT party game! And you can get out a lot of frustrations by (virtually) beating up on your friends...and best of all, no fights over who gets to be Xena in each battle ... the game puts duplicate characters in different costumes. And most importantly you can fight against the evil fluffy Pink bunny Despair by using a code easily found on the Nintendo Website! The fighting controls are not overcomplex, even adults can overcome the greatest of odds to come out on top!

Finally, a decent game by Titus!

All I can say is: it's about time Titus comes out with a good game. Xena is one of the best fighters available on the system. The graphics are very smooth and the music sounds very fitting. There are eleven characters and arenas to choose from and, best of all, the opportunity to have four fighters on screen at once! That's something you don't see everyday. I only have two complaints about Xena: 1) The controls take quite a while to get used to. 2) If your friends are tired of losing to you, they can easily team up on you and that, quite frankly, is no fun at all. But Xena is one of those games that requires you to do more than mash buttons if you hope to win. That's a good thing, you know.

Great Game But There's A Glitch

This a great game with plenty of action but there's a glitch in the programming that causes the sound to go out...I took the game back to Toys R Us and exchanged it but the problem remained even with the new game. So I called the Titus Corp and they admitted there was a problem, and they were working on it, then promised to call me back with a code to punch in before the game starts but they never did. After two long distance phone calls I gave up. Nevertheless I still enjoy playing this game and it's one of my all-time favorites despite the fact I have to hit the reset button occasionally and start the game over when the sound goes out.

Not bad

Normally, Titus doesn't bring much into the gameworld especially with dissapointments like Superman. Xena is the chosen one for now. Bad thing is that this game gets boring fast. It's probably more fun to have 4 players. However, the God mode is really hard, I would recommend some of you to try it out and let me know if you could beat it. Because I couldn't. Have a nice day.

Worth the price...

This game was great fun for me, since I'm not into fighting games. I would recommend it to similar players, but not to those serious about fighting games.
Additionally, the 4-players-at-once option is very cool and makes it a good game to play with your friends. Finally, the price... makes it a worthwhile purchase even if you only get 4 hours of play time out of it.

Best fighter for N64

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 15 / 16

This game is extremely true to the Xena television show. Accurate characters, environments, effects, and overall style from the series will strongly appeal to any fan of the show. At the same time, the unique and astoundingly fun four-player modes make this fighter stand above the rest of the field on the N64. If you love the show or you love a good multi-player brawl, buy this game.
