Best fighter for N64

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 15 / 16

This game is extremely true to the Xena television show. Accurate characters, environments, effects, and overall style from the series will strongly appeal to any fan of the show. At the same time, the unique and astoundingly fun four-player modes make this fighter stand above the rest of the field on the N64. If you love the show or you love a good multi-player brawl, buy this game.

It's a blast!

I really like this game because you can play up to 4 people at the same time. If you are looking for really detailed graphics, such as close ups of facial features you will be disappointed. Each character has at least two really fantastic tricks they can do. Beats Mortal Kombat because of the familiarity of the characters in this game and because the action is easier to control.

This is a great fight game. I love the graphics and the characters. The only problem that I have with it is that characters who would never be fighting against each other on the show fight in the game.

You don't want this game

imagine Mortal Kombat. Now take away most of the characters, give each reamaining character only 2 moves and crappy 5 hit max combos, give them no plot. There now you have Xena.

This game is all fighting but it definately gives you an adrenaline rush. It also gives a good feeling of satisfaction when you beat a person. This game is definately a must-have for Xena fans.

If you like Xena the show, you'll love this game. It has all the main characters and special moves that they do in the show. If there are two players playing and you both choose the same character it will give you a different version of that character which makes it great fun!

rent it instead

This is a very limited game that might be fun for children but not for adults. It provides, at the most, a couple of hours of entertainment. Buy the Playstation game instead.

This is a GREAT party game! And you can get out a lot of frustrations by (virtually) beating up on your friends...and best of all, no fights over who gets to be Xena in each battle ... the game puts duplicate characters in different costumes. And most importantly you can fight against the evil fluffy Pink bunny Despair by using a code easily found on the Nintendo Website! The fighting controls are not overcomplex, even adults can overcome the greatest of odds to come out on top!

Great Game But There's A Glitch

This a great game with plenty of action but there's a glitch in the programming that causes the sound to go out...I took the game back to Toys R Us and exchanged it but the problem remained even with the new game. So I called the Titus Corp and they admitted there was a problem, and they were working on it, then promised to call me back with a code to punch in before the game starts but they never did. After two long distance phone calls I gave up. Nevertheless I still enjoy playing this game and it's one of my all-time favorites despite the fact I have to hit the reset button occasionally and start the game over when the sound goes out.

Lots of fun, play it again & again with different characters

You can keep growing and getting better with 4 different levels of mastery as well as lots of different characters to play as. It is a lot of fun and you won't get bored as each characters has a set of special moves you have to practice to master. I love it.
