The first game I ever played!

I remember playing this. I had a lot of fun with it. It saved Nintendo, really it did!

Graphics:11/10: It set the SNES to its limits. Crystal clear 3D images. Great rain and water.

Sound:10/10: Great sound. The monkey's grunts sound pretty good.

Music:10/10: Jungle music that is very catchy.

Gameplay:9/10: Although not as good as the other 2, it's fun.Play as Donkey or Diddy and romp through many worlds. You can also ride on animal buddies, too.

I suggest you to get this!

The Greatest Game of Donkey Kong History.

Game Play 10/10 -/- Simple, Hard, but Very Fun.

Graphics 10/10 -/- When It Comes To Donkey Kong Country, Good Graphics are an All-Time-High. Nintendo Wasn't Lying when the box art said "3D GRAPHICS."

Music 9/10 -/- Some good stuff. and that's saying a lot because I mostly listen to Punk Rock.

Overall 10/10 -/- Greatest DK Game. THE most "action-packed" game... at least until the second one.

THIS GAME IS A MASTERPEICE. THIS IS THE BEST GAME CREATED FOR THE SUPER N.E.S. IT IS "BEATABLE" BUT IT REQUIRES TALENT THAT IS ACQUIRED THROUGHOUT THE GAME PROVIDING A PERFECT CHALLENGE. This was one of the first platform-games I`ve ever tried to play,and I must say Donkey kong didn`t let me down..!Still,after many years (and hours)playing this game I still find Donkey Kong Country one of the best platform-games ever!Personally I think the background music in this game very "chanty"!

This was the first game I ever played and I loved it then and now.Thank you Rare.

Donkey Kong teams up with his side-kick Diddy when the Kremlings led by King .K Rool steal the largest collection of Banana's in the world called The Kong Banana Hoard.The moves like Barrel Role and Cartwheel usually get the job done.Diddy is faster and a better jumper than Donkey but Donkey can kill most enemys in a single jump.

Three of the Kong family members can help you.Rocket around Donkey Kong island with Funky's Barrel flight or test Cranky's knowledge at his cabin.And jump into Candy's spinning barrel for a quick save.

Five friendly[and cute]animals will help you on your quest.Expresso the ostritch will make a long leap while Winky the frog leaps high.You can count on Squaucks the parrot and his torch to light up your way and you'll get a charge out of Rambi the Rhino and Engaured the swordfish!

The levels a cool especially Forest Frenzy.The music is cool especially Forest Frenzy.

This game is cool and I recommend it for all.

Remember when this came out around 1994 or 1995?

I knew sheer bliss playing this game, it made 2d gaming look amazing, and the Super Nintendo appeared impossibly, invincibly powerful. A great, classic game, I just wish they made games like it for Gamecube...
