I thought this game was really entertaining when I first started playing it. Great Graphics, good use of super powers and all that jazz, but I quickly came to realize that I was at the end not a week after I got it. I mean yeah, there are all the mini games and then Hard difficulty, but its still the same game. If you enjoyed X-Men Legends and like Marvel you will enjoy this game regardless of the length.
Best comic book game for any system overall

In my opinion, this is the best comic book game overall. Tons of characters, both well known and some of the lesser known, are in here. Gameplay is fun and quick paced. Controls are great as well as the graphics on my x-box 360 version. I highly recommend it!!!

This game is actually a lot more fun then I thought it was originally going to be. I bought it for my brother for Christmas and recently I've played the game co-op with him. The good thing about this game is that if one of your team members dies then you get switched to another one. But, if all of your team members die then you'll start over from the last save point.
There are bonuses if you set up pre-set teams in the game. The game will automatically add extra traits to your team. However, you can set up your own team and build up these traits on your own. There are many heroes to choose from.
So, if you like Marvel comics then this game is for you.
Very Addictive Game Play

I was surprised by this game. I think any fan of Marvel comics will enjoy this game immensely. It basically rehashes the X-Men Legends engine, revamps it and makes it more playable in my opinion. I would've liked to have been able to pick say Juggernaut, Magneto, Hulk and the Punisher, but as it is Marvel Ultimate Alliance is pretty good. The graphics are not the sharpest the exception being the cinematic cutscenes. SPOILER ALERT: Dr. Doom seems to be too much of pushover for someone with supposedly the powers of Odin, and it would've been nice to pick Black Widow and even Professor X. But the game is FUN and you'll spend hours working with different hero combinations and unlocking seemingly endless materials. A definite buy.
excellent game but, had flaws.

Well I recently got this game and really am enjoying it. There are 4 memebers on your team and you can rotate them out at any time. So if you don't want spidey go back and get Iron man. Thor to be bannged up get colossus. The gameplay is very fun and addictive.'
The downside. For xbox360 game the graphics were a let down. The dialogue at times was kind of lame. However overall a must have for marvel and general action gamers.

Biggest waste of money. The idea of a superhero RPG where you can play over 10 marvel heroes is a great one, yeah its a knock off of city of heroes but its still a great idea. THis game is horrible the graphics are terrible, gameplay is confusing and its a big big disappointment. If you want a RPG get Oblivion if you want action get gears of war if you want to waste your money get this game, its crap. Don't believe me rent it before buying it.
Poor graphics and simple gameplay.........

I bought this game expecting an arcade style marvel rampage. When i popped the disc into my XBOX360 expecting to be awed this game fell severely short. The graphics looked like something from PS2 or the orginal XBOX. Poor graphics are usually something i can overcome if the game is fun but when i began whooping masters of evil (or whatever they were called) *ss i became bored very very very quickly. I switched characters out freqeuntly... still no woody. I tried the different powers and object lying around... still no woody. Finally i repackaged the game and took it back to my local Gamestop to exchange it for Dead Rising. Now i've got a hard on.
I wouldn't suggest this game for anyone short of being a hardcore marvel fanboy. Maybe if i had picked this game up when i was 12-14 and still collecting comics it would have been more satisfying. Now that i'm 25 it's just a bunk cheap release. I'm taking the money for the next marvel game and buying a prostitute.
A must rent game, not buy.

The game is pretty good. It is basically the same thing as legends but with a few upgrades such as the team aspect of the heroes. Basically you choose 4 players to play the game with and sticking with those characters gives you bonuses. It not worth buying, there isnt enough here to warrant the 60 dollars, or even a 40 dollar price when it drops. Rent it for about 2 weeks and you'll have fun and then move on to the next game.
not as good as the Playstation 2 version

For some reason, the Xbox version of this game features bugs, and the graphics aren't as good as on the Playstation 2. I don't know if maybe I'm just seeing things or if this version is actually weaker than the Playstation 2 version.
