VERY fast, but VERY short racer

i got this game because i enjoyed the version that was on n64 awhile back, and this is just as good if not better.

the upgrade to ps2 technology has significantly increased the sense of speed this thing has. it's scary sometimes speedy around at 600 some mph, dodging cliffs and other racers, very fun. the levels are mostly great. with huge jumps, cool tunnels you can go 360 degrees in, and some very cool shortcuts. but there's also little torches and corners your pod racer doing 500 mph will stop dead when it hits them, it's very irritating having to go around a stupid torch.

the computer ai is ok, as you pass them they will try and ram you. and often suceed at it, which can get very annoying. it's not a really hard game though, they provide only an often irritation. i've won many races by just holding the boost in the last straight away and going from last to first.

needless to say, i have had a lot of fun playing this game. the sense of speed is awesome, and there's alot of great tracks. it's a little easy, and short, but still very worthy of a rent or even a purchase. just don't expect it to be gran turismo with pod racers.

Fast, Furious Pod-Racing Action

If you loved the pod-racing sequence in Episode I, or you liked the original Racer game, you really should take Racer Revenge out for a spin. The designers did a great job of putting together exciting tracks with racing AND crashing action. There's a fun assortment of pod-racers, the tracks are visually exciting and have great sound effects and are fun to race on, and the addition of "Watto's Bribe", where you can earn more truguts (currency) to upgrade your pod by bashing other racers out of the race really makes this game come together as the total Star Wars racing experience. Jump behind the controls of a pod and you will really feel like you jumped into the movie.

This is a great race game with great graphics. I was able to win
two races already. I'm still trying to win the others, but it still keeps my interest. The game helps you wet your appetite for Star Wars Episode 2.

Wow! This is a fabulous game - the action is fast and furious, the graphics are top notch, and the digitized competition is fake enough to make it beatable! Never has it been so much fun to smash into an opponent and watch them disintergrate into hundreds of flaming mechanical parts at five-hundred miles an hour! The courses are engaging, and the special "your last lap playback" feature looks ninety percent like it's right out of a Star Wars film! I've only had this game for a week, and I haven't even started the tournament functions of the game, so I can only expect it to get better and brutal from here on in!

Although the game is a little short, it is very good. I like the way you can kill off other racers for the rest of the race, and get more money for it. But, if you are KO'd, the race is over. The pods are much faster, even though the spedometer says you are going about half the speed of the other game.

As a new PS2 user, this is the hippest game I've ever played! You can beat the game in tournament mode with 18 people to unlock cool bonus people like Episode 1 Sebulba and Ani, Watto(yes, he races),Darth Vader, Darth Maul, and who knows who else? In tournament mode, you start at the Mos Espa Open, and eventually end up in the big daddy, Boonta Eve! Single play lets you race all your favorite unlocked people and tracks. You can unlock an art gallery of cool used and unused concepts. Versus mode doesn't quite give you all the space you need, but it's still pretty exciting. Each track has neat additions like big air jumps, water, underground tunnels, and lava, to name a few. Each level is packed with cool stuff, so take time off, and explore! In short, this game is a successful masterpiece of Lucasarts and Star Wars fun, with a strong Star Wars basis to back it up.

alright lets begins racers revenge 101 im your teacher mr. me ok class let me tell you about this game it great i loved it it takes place 8 years after episodeI or if you prefer2 years befor episodeII you can play as a BUNCH of racers old and new(mostly old)including anikan skywalker,sebulba,dud bolt,odi mandrell,rats tyrell,colman trebor,mawhonic and a lot of others you for every race you play that you make it in 1st,2nd or 3rd you get winning accordingly to buy upgrades for your podracer.Fans of racing games and/or starwars should do thhemselves a favor a BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!that's all for now class!

WHY IS EVERYONE SAYING THIS GAME IS EASY???!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Racers Revenge

This game was great it had great graphics, Great racers, good controls 4.3 sound and cool pods. There is secret racers Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Watto, Sebulba episode 1, anikin episode 1and a few others. The only bad thing is it is to short. I recommend just renting it unless you don't play much video games or are not good.
